wtf they're just trains get over it. That guy that's moving is such a little baby. I hope they never install quiet zones around me bc I'd move to a loud and noisy area full of trains.
we like trains here. just because we like trains doesn't mean we're fucking autistic. everyone is getting pissed off at you because of this so just stop. its not worth the fight
Hey I love trains to, I am not autistic. Everybody has things that they like. What if you loved something and I said that you were autistic from it. How would you feel?
ironmatic 1 were I love there is TONS and I mean TONS of apartments RIGHT ON THE TRAIN TRACKS!!!!!!!! Plus did your probly fighting with every train railroad whatever just stop fighting your getting no were
I mean it's for the best, the gates are malfunctioning, you should be able to blow the horn because the gates, lights, bell etc. couldn't be working properly at that time. Also if you don't like the horns, why did you even move there in the first place? The tracks were there first, not you.
I grew up in that neighborhood and lived there for 28 years. On 73rd and Burnham. This was b4 quit zones were even a thing. Shut up learn to live with train horns like I did, and my siblings and parents and all of my friends. The tracks were there WAY LONG B4 YOU LIVED THERE, so you knew the possibility of horns, but you had no issues moving in. I remember when there was a 3rd track there which lead to a company yard on 73rd and Burnham. On the other side was a functional oil company as well, which was removed after they went out of business. We use to have UP come threw multiple times, steam engines on special occasions, and even passenger trains on a rare occasion. Deal with it.
In my city I only hear one train horn on Tuesday Thursday and sometimes Friday if your sick of hearing trains go live in a town that see one train a day
I live here in Utah, about 12 miles away from the crossing in Woods Cross where the UTA (Utah Transit Authority) employee forgot to turn the signals back on and wait to see it they will activate and deactivate correctly. What happened was that he was dispatched to the crossing because the snow and salt had caused the signals on the UTA side (Union Pacific RR on the other side)to not deactivate after an earlier train had passed through.
I really can't stand people who complain about the trains horns, its common sense, You don't like train horns, DO NOT MOVE NEAR ACTIVE RAILWAY TRACKS! Problem Solved!
If train horns are prohibited at a crossing, then they need to be made safer with medians in the middle (or gated signals on both sides if there’s an adjacent street, parking lot, or driveway near the crossing) along with signs or even smaller signals with bells warning pedestrians to check both ways before crossing and wait until the signals for motor vehicles are completely deactivated.
This is a perfect example why quiet zones shouldn't be in place. Thats an accident waiting to happen. If you don't like the horns then move like the one guy is. Quiet zones should be banned.
Don’t worry if it’s possible for me to go back in time to when those stupid Quiet zones were invented I would say not to do it, or if I am in charge of this thing one day I will ban Quiet zones or if people don’t like it they should just move elsewhere
If you hate train horns so much then move away from them, quiet zones are even more unsafe than normal quiets
Agreed
"man says he will move out" thats what im talking about Dont get rid of the horns. If you dont like it in your neghborhood, leave!
NO MORE QUIET ZONES!!!
Southwest Washington Railfan I agree removed those quiet zones
Southwest Washington Railfan I agree.
F*** no horn zones
f*** those parents with kids. f*** sensitive kids.
QUIET ZONES SUCK!!!!!!
Alright now everyone go to your local quite zone and freeze the circuit boards
This is why we don't like foamers.
ironmatic 1 that was a sarcastic comment
this is why we hate quiet zones
@J. Likes Trains 5 years later
wtf they're just trains get over it. That guy that's moving is such a little baby. I hope they never install quiet zones around me bc I'd move to a loud and noisy area full of trains.

Actually, normally it does. Not always, but normally.

I'll move next to rail yard! They can't take my horns now!
Apparently, UP actually doesn't endorse the installation of these quiet zones.
Good.
Of course they don’t! Why would they
My city which is ran by UP sent in a quiet zone request recently
Move if you hate it, trains hate you as well
I like trains from my house i hear the rumble of the union Pacific train
I mean it's for the best, the gates are malfunctioning, you should be able to blow the horn because the gates, lights, bell etc. couldn't be working properly at that time. Also if you don't like the horns, why did you even move there in the first place? The tracks were there first, not you.
0:22 see thats what you haters should do and railfans will move in!

these people dont belong in neighborhoods near train tracks
All day & night? Wow there is a train literally 24/7? Lol
I mean... I would gladly trade houses with one of these people if they complain so much since I live in a non-railroad town.
That crossing can’t be a QZ. There are no substitutes in place. Also, just don’t.
Have people ever heard of ear muffs?
You hate train horns why move near them?
What’s the point of a train horn if u aren’t gonna use it.
I really can't stand people who complain about the trains horns, its common sense, You don't like train horns, DO NOT MOVE NEAR ACTIVE RAILWAY TRACKS! Problem Solved!
This is about as stupid as moving near an airport and complaining about the planes being noisy. Some people are as screwed up as a football bat.

Those people just need to get over it
I used to live near a railroad crossing in La Miranda California and it always bothered me how there would be a train in the middle of the night.
Then don't live near train tracks.
@@anthonyalba1238 Look I was young at the time and my parents were the ones who moved in that home so I had no control over it. I moved since 2003.
@@SoraFan23 I grew up living just across the highway from very active train tracks. Approximately 85 per day. I just got used to them.
@@SoraFan23 Pick yourself up by the bootstraps and get used to it then. That's what I did when I was 10-12
@@gnnascarfan2410 Oh shut up.
Trains are supposed to sound their horns at all the railroad crossings
Go lookup the "General Code of Railroads 6.32.2", it is literally a requirement for trains to sound their horns if crossings malfunction.
My uncle has a CSX line behind his house and Amtrak goes 60 at midnight and my uncle doesn’t notice it at all
wow im glad the truck made it.
Then don’t move near the train tracks.
Its depressing that people can’t handle a few days of train horns
We need that Quiet Zones Forever
Whats your problem, if the train doesn't blow its horn, then someone can end up in a accident
Hell no
these neighbors AKA NIMBY"s love oversleeping. I wish I had a railway near me to wake me up because I oversleep a lot.
This is a perfect example why quiet zones shouldn't be in place. Thats an accident waiting to happen. If you don't like the horns then move like the one guy is. Quiet zones should be banned.
Hey don't even think about it the union Pacific railroad has a right away to work slow
Good move away .bye now
Yes!! Support the train horns and say no to them quiet zones! I salute any train crew that is friendly with the train horns!
A railfans dream house
People don't think when they got a friend dead from a train cause no horn
accidents would also be loud
Just soundproof your windows people
I live there by a crossing
Quiet zones are horrible
Well the train has to SOUND THE HLRN INCASE THE RXR IS CORRUPTED
Remove all quiet zones. Why can't anybody enjoy the sound of a Leslie S3 anymore or a Nathan K5LA.
Yes! Train horns for all!
Don’t worry if it’s possible for me to go back in time to when those stupid Quiet zones were invented I would say not to do it, or if I am in charge of this thing one day I will ban Quiet zones or if people don’t like it they should just move elsewhere
bullshit i love trains the horn is art music get over it
