      I say this all the time. It’s sickening how children are treated nowadays. It’s become the norm to caudal them and keep them mentally younger than generations before us. First of our kind. (Not me but you get the point)

      We of a certain age had the BEST teachers on TV. It was children's content but delivered in a way that respected our brains and taught us to be well spoken as we grew. Bullwinkle respected our brains as well. These adults I believe really enjoyed being around us, teaching us, laughing with us. He loves gay people, but he didn’t encourage them to settle for being gay, he encouraged them to understand the beauty of the balance of a heterosexual relationship. He was a Reverend. There is no hatred of Gay people by those who follow Christ, there is a censoring of them being able to tell Gay people how Jesus heals. So many beautiful testimonies of people who came out of the gay lifestyle by being fully healed and not buy any work of their own are constantly taken off of the Internet. That’s not love that their testimony of being delivered from lust is removed, that’s hate from the gay community that wants to reject the concept that Jesus can give them better.

      @@liamproductions1115Yes I am also disgusted by the way some people treat transgender people but at the same time they are also rather deliberately provocative. They demand people believe what they believe, they demand people refer to them by sometimes invented pronouns and they claim to not care what anyone thinks about them and it comes off as extremely privileged and entitled behavior. Yet when people believe in something different, they call it hateful. That's ridiculous. I don't have hate you because I disagree with you. I believe what I believe and you should also be free to believe what you believe and the consequences that come with your beliefs.

      @@jbarker5095it sounds like you've got this view on trans people based on what you've seen online, or from like one trans person you've met. I'm a trans woman and know several others, not a single one is asking us to use pronouns that don't exist. All the pronouns used we learned in primary school. You're 100% right, you are allowed to believe what you believe, but genderqueer people are known to have been around since Galli priests in 200 BCE. You ARE allowed to believe what you want but you have to be okay with someday being the old guy who ruins thanksgiving for your family and gets invited around less.

    It's not about foresight, Mr Rogers was just stating a fact, very young children don't' know the world and how anything works. They need direction. Many will ask if they will grow up to be a man or a woman or if they can stay as children.
    These are all normal questions and part of life. Unfortunately today we have a grown a generation of weak parents who don't know how to direct their children. So instead of telling a young boy who thinks he may grow up and be a woman like his "Mommy", that no, this is not what happens, they tell him - if you want to be a woman you can...
    I have been a teacher for 21 years, and the lack of parenting skills just gets worse and worse.

      You are somehow right despite your transphobia. Boys do, in fact, grow up to become what society defines as “men”.
      With that said, trans girls are girls, and will grow up as “women”.
      May our mutual god of love bless you and your family. Teaching is not an easy job, but it is not a reason to push your views onto people. Don’t you think life is hard for trangender people? Don’t you think that them being told they are wrong hurts them? How would you feel if you were trapped in a body of the opposite sex as you?
      If you want to get informed about trangenderism from a trans man’s perspective, jammiedodger made a series of videos on what it is like to be transgender or to date a transgender person(told by his partner). However, if you just want to target him with insults, don’t bother checking him out. He doesn’t care about negative comments.

    • @CinnamonKnightEntertainment
      @CinnamonKnightEntertainment 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      No it's really about creating a sense of self, not direction. Direction means someone else trying to define things for you. Every woman is a woman on the inside, every man is a man on the inside, and you stay that way, even if you change your body to fit who you are on the inside.

      @@Jacy-dx6dx Let me ask you something... With as much love and acceptance as Fred had on his show and in his day-to-day life, do you think he would discriminate against anyone for any biological reason? Because that was my only point. Not "what is a man, a woman, or an intergender anomaly," just that Fred would understand and accept anyone with the same kindness & non-judgment he's always shown.

    • @Daves_Faves
      @Daves_Faves 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Jacy-dx6dx Not what I said, and I think you're smart enough to know that. Nobody is questioning your gender.
      It would take me far more than a comment section to lay out all the potential causes and characteristics of intergender anomalies. I've studied science and medicine for decades and spoken with real people, studying their conditions. They make up a tiny percentage of animal population, but they are as real as the usual binary "male or female" of most animal species.
      While I don't realistically expect you to spend years of your life going to university to get a degree in zoology (animal biology) so you can learn as much as I have, I can suggest you put some time aside and study the subject of intergender in humans and other animals. Studies are readily available and easily accessible, both in text and video format.
