When a gentle man like Mr. Rodgers speaks everyone is quiet and respectful. We all know deeply that he is authentic and true power and wisdom reside within him. A real role model for us all.
They understand it fine. They are just too deep in a lie that they try to find things that fit their bs. I’ve seen people use reptiles clownfish to make their point. They’ll get “spiritual” about it, and simply say “it does not matter”. Just the simple fact of them insisting on “changing the body to fit the mind” already shows they know which bodies are male and which are female. That’s why it’s so awful. These adults KNOW. The children don’t.
@@markduran9562 The conclusion to the argument was perfect. "We stipulate, that as a man, you have the right to be pregnant" (and its not your fault you don't have a womb)
That man was one of the greatest. He and Dr. Seuss. 2 men that understood how to teach children about important and sometimes challenging ideas. We don't have men like that anymore.
I watched him too when I was a toddler. I had a very broken family, so he was a breath of fresh air. I almost felt like a normal child with no problems when that show was on.
It's not about foresight, Mr Rogers was just stating a fact, very young children don't' know the world and how anything works. They need direction. Many will ask if they will grow up to be a man or a woman or if they can stay as children. These are all normal questions and part of life. Unfortunately today we have a grown a generation of weak parents who don't know how to direct their children. So instead of telling a young boy who thinks he may grow up and be a woman like his "Mommy", that no, this is not what happens, they tell him - if you want to be a woman you can... I have been a teacher for 21 years, and the lack of parenting skills just gets worse and worse.
You are somehow right despite your transphobia. Boys do, in fact, grow up to become what society defines as “men”. With that said, trans girls are girls, and will grow up as “women”. May our mutual god of love bless you and your family. Teaching is not an easy job, but it is not a reason to push your views onto people. Don’t you think life is hard for trangender people? Don’t you think that them being told they are wrong hurts them? How would you feel if you were trapped in a body of the opposite sex as you? If you want to get informed about trangenderism from a trans man’s perspective, jammiedodger made a series of videos on what it is like to be transgender or to date a transgender person(told by his partner). However, if you just want to target him with insults, don’t bother checking him out. He doesn’t care about negative comments.
No it's really about creating a sense of self, not direction. Direction means someone else trying to define things for you. Every woman is a woman on the inside, every man is a man on the inside, and you stay that way, even if you change your body to fit who you are on the inside.
You’re so right. It’s all about perspective. To him he’s explaining It how It is not because of what “time we live in” but just how It is. We perceive It as foresight because the opposite has happened in our current time. Perspective. Most people can’t acknowledge It
He was and still is, one of the greatest people to ever grace this world. Does anyone else know: why he always wore long sleeves? Why he always had a sweater he'd take off? Why he always mentioned that he was feeding his fish? Not only did he go against the "stereotypes " common for the times ; he blew those narrow minds out of the stratosphere!! He was a true blessing of generosity.
That’s exactly correct! Children do have these questions. Groomers know this and wanna answer these questions. All before the parents have a chance to save their children.
Just hearing the name Mr. Rogers evokes such strong memories of this kind, gentle soul. Melts my heart and pulls at it's strings. Children couldn't help but love him. Seeing all of these comments that share a common thread of expression of the impact he had on all of us proves it. We each felt the same loving attention... almost as if it was individual to YOU! You felt a connection. You felt safe, loved, seen, and heard. Like a warm hug. We all felt it. What a Legacy! He had an enormous impact on an entire generation. Mr. Rogers is a National Treasure! But, I can *never forget the joy and excitement Mr.Rogers Neighborhood brought me, when coming on. @@mythrillium2 a lot of kids have those thoughts. It's just a phase unless you have narcissists parents that help you develop a trama inducing view of yourself. Science is factual. You should love who you are,not what you think you should be because that's not who you are.
As a kid, the thought of possibly changing never even occurred to me. Mr. Rogers was great with children, so I'm sure he's correct in believing that some of them did.
I have heard that when kids came up to Mr. Rogers and told him how they were sad or didn’t feel like they fit in, he always responded the same way. He listened to them. He was kind and he validated their feelings.
We remember him. He was a father figure and we were the kids. Now it's time for us to step up. We have to take on the mantle of father figure for the next generation.

@CinnamonKnightEntertainment Sadly, that's how it works. These people are parasites that covet ideas and don't use proper critical thinking in good faith. It sucks.
Brilliant man. Children do observe other children, and similarities and differences, then they watch how adults act, who has the power, who does not. They get scared of who or what they might become in their little but great imaginations. They watch. They imitate. Mr. Rogers learned from kids as well as kids learning from this great man.

@Joe-mm9ps I'm a heterosexual conservative that doesnt flaunt my sexual proclivity and don't care what others do in the privacy of your bedroom, but I will not condone the behavior of other sexual beings needing to share there sexual deviations when mine isn't.
@@22lyricsee, there’s a difference there. Yeah, some kids *want* to be an animal or an inanimate object. Some also *want* to be the opposite sex or gender. It’s really harmful.
@edplax1 although your comment came from a place of intolerance, medical doctors & psychiatric professionals are ECACTLY what trans people rely on for care. NOT politicians & school boards.
Why do you say 'they'? The LGBT community does not hate Mr Rogers at all, he is universally loved after all. Jesus' original teachings were incredibly progressive and still to some extent are to this day. The issue that most have with 'Christianity' is the people who follow the hate but not the love, the rules but not the heart. Look at the conservatives who refuse to give money to a child with cancer because their agony was 'a sign from god that they need a mommy and daddy and not two mommies.' These happen all the time and they give those who simply spread peace a bad name. To take these heartless people and call them the face of Christianity because they worship the same god as the true believers is an insult to every good Christian.
The LGBTQ community loves Mr. Rogers. He was a great and accepting man. His entire point is about accepting a person for who they are, especialy if that person is in a mirror. Heck, People like him made it easier for me to accept my sexuality. so weird.

Fred was a very kind-hearted man, but we didn't know nearly as much then about biology as we do now. There was minimal, if any, understanding of intergender anomalies in humans and other animals at the time.
@@Jacy-dx6dx Let me ask you something... With as much love and acceptance as Fred had on his show and in his day-to-day life, do you think he would discriminate against anyone for any biological reason? Because that was my only point. Not "what is a man, a woman, or an intergender anomaly," just that Fred would understand and accept anyone with the same kindness & non-judgment he's always shown.
@@Daves_Faves sooooo according to you gender is made up and I have to respect a bunch of made up stuff? I'm pretty sure because I have a certain sex organ. It makes me something. Almost like we have a name for that hmmm.
@Jacy-dx6dx Not what I said, and I think you're smart enough to know that. Nobody is questioning your gender. It would take me far more than a comment section to lay out all the potential causes and characteristics of intergender anomalies. I've studied science and medicine for decades and spoken with real people, studying their conditions. They make up a tiny percentage of animal population, but they are as real as the usual binary "male or female" of most animal species. While I don't realistically expect you to spend years of your life going to university to get a degree in zoology (animal biology) so you can learn as much as I have, I can suggest you put some time aside and study the subject of intergender in humans and other animals. Studies are readily available and easily accessible, both in text and video format.
This is happening regularly now. Just imagine a young confused person after having his male or her female parts surgically removed and then coming to their senses having to live with that nightmare for the rest of their lives.

Exactly!!!!!
Because society tells kids they can be whatever they want. Instead of teaching skills
It’s due to people having difficulty understanding the difference between fact and emotion.

Miss you!❤
I watched him too when I was a toddler.
God bless you for your services as a Teacher
Most people can’t acknowledge It
@@bastienfelix4605you're the one pushing your views onto people and they don't align with reality. You're lost.
