- The Iraqi dinar is fast losing value to the US dollar.
Prices continue to climb and it is making the economy even more fragile, after years of war and corruption.
Iraq’s economy has been struggling to tackle the fallout from years of war and corruption.
Al Jazeera’s Mahmoud Abdelwahed reports from Baghdad, Iraq.

Iraq should go a different direction, away from the dollar, start selling their oil in their own currency, that is the only way to go,get rid of the dollar.

Libya tried to do that and look what happened to them
Hence have to buy with foreign currency to get the local currency. Government also looks for stability in its foreign reserves.
Iraq should sell their oil in Chinese yuhan , Russian money and Indian rupee 😊

I'm a American citizen and been living in Iraq since last year and we do have to exchange currency especially when doing government things like getting documents done or green cards etc. The value definitely went down so much what use to be $1000 now is $600 sadly. But yeah noticed they always want U.S dollar in exchange. 🫤
The dollar is getting too strong. Countries are going to get left behind and have to default on their debt. China has jumped in to fill the void. This is extremely risky for China. Many countries are not going to be able to repay debt to China and default.

in eu , today i got a quart plug with 2 usb 4 plugs was 15 euro , a outside lighting not sun based 15 euro , a donut was 60 cent 10 6 euro , a vegetable bean , thats like 37 euro , but in quality maybe nearly half a bike , wich could mean the overload work beside food , on a like 50 euro salary , wich could mean a bycicle in 2 days , usa was saying like 200$ a day wich was overload and food all together wich was wack!
