I respect your choice there’s no reason to do a job that you don’t fully love I personally feel like college isn’t for me and I still don’t know what I want to do 💜🤍💙

I’m in my 4th semester of nursing school and have one more semester left, but now I want to be a teacher. I told my parents yesterday but they didn’t seem too supportive of my decision. My fiancé 100% supports me but I just don’t know. :c

Look into Teach For America. You can be a teacher w/o a degree in education and after being a teacher for 2 years with them, you can go to grad school and get scholarships for working for them

I don't know why people get all bent out of shape about changing careers. Life is about variety. I myself am an Mother, Entrepreneur, Paralegal, Nurse, Stenographer, and soon to be a lawyer. Heck, why not?

girll!! I am so happy I found this video! I literally have been going back and forth since October about dropping out of nursing too. I've taken loads of healthcare classes and I know that I love lab stuff, phlebotomy, xray/diagnostic stuff, and research stuff. I know I love medicine and want to help people. I love science too. But I am not so sure about the bedside care aspect, and I suck at applying the lecture concepts to real life clinical content. I also missed my clinical day that I was scheduled to give a med because I was too scared to do so. It is hard for me to remember all the meds and the signs and symptoms of diseases in order to treat the patients no matter how much I study. I loved all my anatomy courses though. My sister is in radiology and I thought about doing that instead since it's more lab and science based, but still helps people. I am already certified in phlebotomy too. I just don't know if nursing is it for me, so I understand. I had my first day back yesterday and ran to my car to cry after because I was so overwhelmed and felt so unsure about it. Theres just so much pressure to be a nurse nowadays, but there are SO many other parts of medicine and all are helpful and needed! Theres also SO many other career paths out there too! You're never stuck! that is what my dean, counselor, and teachers told me today! Proud of you! :)

I appreciate your video, I am thinking of making "the big" decision because i dont feel happy and motivated like i did taking the prerequisites. The program is not easy, and you would think they will try to help you and make it easier but they dont care as much. If i dont make it this semester i wont even feel bad about it because I can find happiness doing other jobs than spending years stressed out about legal and hospital issues in nursing.
