    Listen, I work 2 jobs in tech and I set my llc up today. I have capital AND I have the drive to fulfill some of the work myself as I grow. Your videos are highly inspiring to a woman like me. I was a stripper 2 years ago and now I’m a cyber security consultant. Keep the posts coming. I will watch them all over the next 4 weeks while my filing completes. Finding your channel feels like confirmation after FINALLY making a needed step towards my million dollar year.

    Be mindful once you have employees there's EMPLOYMENT TAXES along with Filing & depositing requirements for entity type. You are subject to taxes fines fees for late or non filing. You need more than quicbooks or similar 3rd party software & most of all trustworthy employees!

    I used my Affirm credit to kick off my government contracting business lol. Seriously, that 10k credit that I randomly got approved for a few years ago and never used/forgot about came in clutch. Used that as a buffer for the time between purchasing/delivering goods and the agency issuing a check. Did all this while working full time as a retail manager. Even doing this part time and nit picking smaller contracts, I made $47k last year thru my sole proprietor/employee LLC that Im running out of my house. Unless Im making mid six figures, I wouldn't think about hiring employees (and the insurances that comes with that)

    • @sheenapreneur
      @sheenapreneur  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      Partially true. I didn’t have capital. Also, if you start off as a sub you may not need capital. Or if you ask your contractors to wait for payment

    • @Angry397
      @Angry397 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      30 days is the norm, but asking a sub to wait 60, maybe a red flag for them. Im going to apply for a line of credit. I do have some capital. I will try for the smaller contracts for now. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi Sheena, I would like to start off doing middleman. It’s hard to secure contracts without having certifications . Most certifications require experience. Do you train on how to provide services as the middleman of so how long does it usually take to secure contracts as a middleman.

    • @sheenapreneur
      @sheenapreneur  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t teach “middleman”. I have a video on my channel sharing my thoughts about it. Also, you can easily secure contracts as a small business without certifications.

If not then Im even more confused haha...bcoz if I got into this biz with 10k how am I gonna supply gov with 250k worth of product?

    • @sheenapreneur
      @sheenapreneur  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      +@ckhalifazada Great question. When it comes to products, it depends on how they agency wants it delivered. If they want it all at once, then yes you may need to have that amount of money or at least have a credit line with the company you are getting the product from.
      Many times the product company will allow you to get the goods without pay as long is you have established credit with them OR bring them proof, you have a large order! Buttttt the relationship SHOULD be built before your first awarded contract!
