    Great vid again. The worst weather and mud..no grip. Then no brakes!!

      Such a long time ago this ride, but still remember it like it was yesterday. Nightmare of a ride

    Went up the beast yesterday in the dry, fair play for going down in the wet. First time I’ve been around there did 28 miles around ladybower loved it.
    Another good vid keep them coming, great inspiration for me to get out and do some of your routes or similar 👏🏻👏🏻

    It's great to see vids of this side of biking, not just the dry, sunny days, thanks for putting it up. Also you sound like me on those soggy winter Peak trails!

      Adam Carless thanks Adam. I actually enjoy riding in the wet. It’s got to be embraced in this country 😂

    Unlucky with your brake mate. Conditions looked minging so kudos for getting out.

      Lakedistrictrider I actually enjoyed been out in the wet and rain with the new clothes and shoes I’ve bought. Like wainwright said. There is no such thing as bad weather. Just bad equipment 😂😂
      It was the mud and lack of traction I hated. Will stick to the yorkshire dales on the fabulous tracks when it’s bad from now on

    Kudos for riding in such crap weather, you've done well to keep the GoPro lens clean!

    • @TrailFinder

      Adam Bonson it’s second nature now wiping the lens when I’m riding.

    I never cleared The Beast - always had a foot down two or three times. Great vid, mate 🙂

    That brake choosing to do its own thing would have pissed me off too Mate. Stunning scenery though. I've done a bit of walking up there but never been up there on the bike. I really need to sort that out... Great job. 👍

      common fault with sram brakes. but easy fix with the rebuild kit. get your self out mate. there is great riding to be had in the area

      @@TrailFinder Good climb to get up there, and mega views back over to Ladybower! I went down in the dry and it's still sketchy from what I remember.

    Some of your best commentary there. Brave in that weather. Interested in what waterproofs you go for.

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      taius20 it’s pretty good in the dry. But on this ride I wasn’t afraid of been a pussy and getting off and walking down 😂😂. The rocks were like ice. Tomorrow I’m uploading another classic from the Peak District “Cut Gate” it’s a must to ride it. Very techie. You will have to look out for it. Thanks for watching 👊👊
