Tina is a survivor & an overcomer. Ike was trash to do those things to her but by the grace of God she survived & rose to an even higher icon than she was. Women who have that life could learn a lot from this incredible talent
She's the joy in every newborns smile, the warmth in every lazy sunset, the sweet smell in every flower we take in with us. She's now in every moment that melts your heart and takes your breath away. In all of those little moments, she's there will all of us. Forever. Namaste, sweet girl 🧘🏻♀️💕🙏🏻☯️
As far as I'm concerned, this is truly the day.....the music died. There has never been a moment when a Tina Turner tune didn't get me on my feet a-moving and a-grooving with alot of happy in my heart to boot. Keep Rollin' On, Ms. Tina.....we were lucky to have you! ❤️❤️
RIP … Huge Respect and Admiration for this woman. She’s fought like a lion during his life to be what she was. “You’re Simply the Best” for ever Madam Tina Turner.
Though later performances of the song were absolutely spectacular, could'nt get thru the day and not visit THIS performance. RIP T.T. May you forever Rock and Roll down that Heavenly River.
Just heard Fantasia sing this at the Grammys. Came straight here for the real deal. Fantasia was cute. Tina was a force of nature. RIP you sexy, powerful, fabulous human being.

Ah, Tina... such a sad day today. You will be missed. Thank you for the music, the energy, the beauty, the class, the smile and your beautiful spirit. RIP Great Lady.
As a kid growing up, I loved listening to Tina Turner, but my parents would never let us see her or Tom Jones dance. Looking back, it's clear why - they were just trying to protect our innocent eyes 👀from all that Sassy but shaking and Tom Jones wild style 😂😂😂 But now that I'm older, I appreciate the lessons they taught me about discretion and respect. Rest in peace, Tina Turner - one of the greatest female artists of all time, whose music will always keep us dancing!
We had the good fortune of seeing Tina perform on her last concert tour in the beautiful city of Toronto. Man....She was amazing. It was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. Thank You Tina For your incredible voice and music. Rest in Peace, Tina.
She went back and forth from singing to dancing in a span of 8 minutes without missing a beat or tone and you can tell her voice wasn’t in top shape from the start (maybe due to Ike’s abuse and pushing her to exhaustion) but she still gave a wonderful performance 👏
LEGEND, ICON, QUEEN, SURVIVOR, AMERICAN TREASURE! Thank you TINA TURNER Thank you for your music, light, energy and love that you shared with the world!
I was so touched by her story because my mom also went through abuse and to hear her sing made me a fan she will forever be in my heart ❤️i love everything about Tina
I remember this song long time ago now I am 56 years old 😮!!!! always REMEMBER how Tina Turner showed how it is in the signs of times in the early 70's I really love her song 😊😊😊😊 Lov U Tina
I would spend a small fortune to see this particular performance live. IMO the best version of Proud Mary and that concert also featured an incredible River Deep. I saw Tina in 2008 and it was the best concert I’ve ever seen. But to see her in her younger days - must have been mind-blowing.
I've been listening to this song since the movie came out. I was only 3 years old, singing and dancing to all the songs. At age 28, still listening to the music. She has been one of my favorite influential role models ever since.
TINA YOU REMIND ME OF MY MOTHER AND I ALWAYS LOOKED UP TO YOU I LOVE ALL YOUR MUSIC AND YOUR MOVIES YOU ARE FOREVER GOING TO BE MISSED BY ME I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU QUEEN THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU REST IN PEACE FLY HIGH❤❤❤

Most courageous, resilient entertainer I have ever known of. We always dread it when these days come, the passing of a well known endeared figure. We fall in love with the entertainer and their music and it's as if we know them inside and out personally. RIP beautiful soul.
LMAO she said she was going to do nice and easy for half the song and couldn't hold back the energy for more than a minute and a half. What a queen, amazing energy.
Just yesterday I was cutting some tree limbs down and I made a move and scratched the back of leg pretty bad from one of the branches and I said to myself, well there goes my perfect Tina Turner legs…this is an extremely sad day in music RIP Queen!
Is it just me or did Tina Turner along with Chaka Khan and other early artist REALLY pave the way for female artist today especially Beyonce. Just look at the big hair, clothes and choreographed dance! :)
Agree 100% I stopped caring for Beyoncé after her song with Jay Z.. and the Ike and Tina comment. At the end of the day. It was a domestic abuse situation, that could of lead to the death of Tina. (And if you know her childhood, you will know the girl is a fighter) I can’t support people who are okay with glamourise domestic abuse. And profit from it.
Greast singer that ever lived. My dad rip loved her songs. I sang at at his funeral simply the best as he requested. Bless his heart he loved me singing. Always will have a special place in my heart for tina as dad and I both love her songs and her singing.
For those of you saying "Beyoncé can try all she wants", Beyoncé has said that Tina along with Etta James, Nina Simone and other amazing black powerhouse beautiful female singers, she looks up to them and they are her inspiration. I myself, as a Beyoncé fan, watching this performance could see how Bey gets ideas by just watching Tina perform and do that choreography. Artists and performers are inspired by what they feel and feel empowered mostly when they are growing up and look up to such artists. No shame, no shade. Just respect and what an honor life is to have given us artists. God bless.
You make a point. I'm just sick of Beyonce's fans saying she's the new Tina Turner. I don't accept that for one minute. She's R&B. Tina's Rock and Roll. Two totally different acts.

Goosebumps all over! You just can't sit still to this!!!! SHE IS the greatest! Such energy on stage!
The way her voice sounds sends chills down my spine 🥶
She was and still is such a strong beautiful woman can’t believe she put up with all that abuse but God bless her
It was deeply ingrained in culture for a woman to stay with an abusive man, even now it's far too accepted.
She might've felt that, some things are bigger than yourself. Look how she turned out
you clearly do not understand abuse and the way it manifests as love. look it up.
I Agree but believe it or not she wasn’t an angel her hands were dirty too
She tried to leave him a few times but he always found out where she was going
