Some have commented that I shouldn't put myself at risk for views on TH-cam. I don't do any of this for views on TH-cam. I do what I do for my enjoyment and enjoy producing videos about it. It people enjoy watching it great , if not they can watch something else.
It's not about the views, it's safety we're talking about here. A number of us, myself included, think that the risk could have been managed differently making for a safer descent and still allowed you to be successful and achieve your goal. We're not trying to gang up and throw you a blanket party. Our armchair quarterbacking is just meant to be a positive reminder to not let enthusiasm cloud your judgment. We want you to keep going with your passion (TH-cam or not), but not at the cost of injury.
We know you survived hence the video , but one day frank wont post for a while. Who'll be the first to post his #DarwinAward nomination? ** caveat If you were just doing this for shits and giggles, no videos,. No difference in wouldn't presume to tell a fellow grownup what he can and can't do. Pssst, it's because ppl love ya frank. We do care. Eh?
It takes a lot of guts to speak up when you're uncomfortable. I applaud Sharon in her bravery in this and all the other adventures we've seen her in. Stay safe and thanks for sharing this with us!
Not trying to be critical here, but I agree with some of the other comments. You were far too comfortable with this situation. You talked yourself into breaking several rules. Granted, you came out ok this time, but next time might be different. Never never never work below anything unstable. Work it from above. All it takes is something heavy hitting you in the head or cutting your rope, then it's all over. Also, your "wall" may have seemed safe, but in fact was not. When heavy objects fall and hit boards the boards bounce. And when they bounce they dislodge. Everything comes crashing down. You work on the farm, so I know that you know this. Please please please don't get complacent and over confident. Always be vigilant, use critical thinking, and stick to the rules no matter what. I know I'm preaching here but honestly you need to reevaluate what took place. I like your videos and want to continue to see new ones, as do many many other people.
Frank, you reacted the way we hope we do. You did not panic at all, just slowed down , took and breath and said ok let's see wtf is going on. Lol. Another great video!!!
Wow, Frank!!! just a wee bit dicey & crapped out at the bottom. A real good show by you two. Watch them blocked inclines. We all want you around for more fabulous videos!!!
It's amazing. Most jobs you can imagine the action required to accomplish it. But with these mines they where all made by people. The graft must have been incredible. The skill to cut nd fit all that wood. Awesome.

It was perilous in that shaft. Frank and Sharon you were both awesome in the way you dealt with the descent and the collapse. I'm glad you're both okay. When you hit the haul level it was a real shame it didn't go too far after all the effort to make it down safely. Amazing adventure. Take care and be safe. 👍❤️

I very much enjoy your channel as you can really get the butterflies flying in my guts at times, I watch the videos and talk to you through the screen saying things like, "don't do it, Frank, you will get hurt but then the lights come on and I realize that if something happened I would not be watching the video, I know I'm silly. Be safe Frank and thank you for the education and your wonderful channel.
Frank / Sharon, keep it up! Enjoying every video you post. I miss working underground (coal and hard rock), and I can't wait until my daughters are a little bit older as they also enjoy your videos and want to explore.

Human mine jenga is entertaining, but also a bit terrifying! Don't blame Sharon for not going down and considering the mine itself wasn't anything special, she made a good call! Exciting stuff!
As a former miner myself im not easily fazed but that was much to iffy. As I tell my son Frank sometimes you got to know when to walk away and this was one of those times . No shame in some times being on the side of err, you get to live longer that way . Glad you were both ok and live to reflect on the situation from an audience perspective, probably looked worse than it was but a lesson to learn from just the same , and sharon is one hell of a woman to have on board and despite her worries got some real nerve . Good luck for the future for both of you .

Wow that was pretty sketchy but very entertaining Sharon made the right decision as to go back up as frank supported her that’s awesome as Frank said if you don’t feel right to continue to not feel bad or say sorry it’s ok to head back up! Bummer that it was a short incline both ways but still was exciting ! Thanks for another great adventure !!
