Douglas has not done the best GM job in last 40 years. What Douglas did well, which has always been a problem for the Jets ie. Is he drafted the correct and obvious pick. Sauce at 4 was an expected pick so was Wilson and Hall its not like he found guys no one knew about. How did his later round picks go? Denzel Mims he traded up for to the second pick of 2cnd round hes out of football, where is Elijah Moore? And come on, it can never be forgotten that instead of trading down, probably to San Fran and stocking a bunch more picks( what I was praying he'd do) he made the worst number 2 overall pick in NFL history. And it really was because he took a guy not even talented enough to play in the NFL. You can point to Ryan Leaf, difference is Ryan Leaf was an NFL QB. He had all the talent in the world that's not what destroyed him. Going by his ability, he could have been great it was all mental with him. With Zach he simply did not belong in the NFL. The best GM the Jets have had ever was Bill Parcells.

Making Rodgers not Wilson look bad. Hall has been disappointing too. When do they start going to Allen morre than Hall Problem is the Jets have a great QB who is not broken down but they went into the season relying on young guys with the "potential" to be great who havent been great yet. Wilson has put up good not great #'s. Everyone thought hed put up an easy 1500 yards with a competent QB but its simply not happening and its the reason DeVonte Adams to the Jets may be the way they save this season. As for Hall, before he tore his knee up he looked great, breaking off those 60 yard runs several times. He has not been the same guy after the injury.
