Those are very nice, and loud!!
Loud like a growler!
Great Video, Thanks.
Thanks Norm!
Very cool bait Glen, you're right the southern Ontario bait builders have been cranking out some awesome lures. Great video as always brother.
Just an amazing group of builders down there right now!
Interesting bait without the chatter blade. Looks like.a Grenade/Beaver combo. The audio on the chatter bait is incredible. Hope to see them get eatin' in a couple of weeks. Thanks for demonstrating the baits
Thanks for watching! The chatter blade is LOUD!
See you in a few weeks!
The closer your getting to a headbanger lure. Invert the chatter blade and you have created a soft body banger.
The is another builder in the great lakes region that has built the same lure design using crank bait heads. So if you compare the angry dragon, beaver, muntz fly, and the crank bait design. They are all basically copies of each other, just with minor approaches to the final product.
The headbanger was at one point. The best producing lure, until durability issue came up.
I like designing lures. I am willing to draw one up for you to produce if you would like. With one drawing, you could configure 30 lures. With each design being able to run by iyself or be connected to other lures. As a matter of fact...I'll save you the postage and create a video for it.
We tried the early version of the headbanger with limited success, it just wasn't very good at moving fish. They either hit it or didn't show.
Most lures are a take on another lure, truly innovative lures are hard to find now. It's about timing and having the right profile at the right depth. The best anglers are masters of using the right stuff at the right time, the rest of us throw the kitchen sink at them and hope for the best!
