Looks like a great setup and walls will be great during the colder months. Can't wait to get our own sawmill...hopefully next year or possibly the year after.

Thanks for the kind comments. One of my primary goals is to provide weather protection to the mill head.
Best of luck on getting your mill. They are so useful and relaxing to use (at least for me). But, they are lots of work!

Way Cool! I'm not surprised you're wanting walls just that you're able to do it yet this fall!
Come ☃️ winter you'll appreciate the wind block.😊
I'm curious will you have to do hay stacks around the chicken yard? Will they be okay with out? 🐥🐔🐔🐔

The walls are actually to protect the sawmill head from the weather. However, they also provide me protection too as I saw.
No need for hay around the chicken yard. There is a heat source inside the coop if it gets too cold. They are a hearty animal and due really well in cool/cold weather. I actually have more issues with them in hot weather

I see 45 braces keeping the length of the building stable ,... but I don't see any braces keeping you shed from being pushed over by a high wind?

Thanks and good catch. I do plan on adding more braces. That said, we’ve had a couple of nasty storms and it held up well-thus far anyway.
