Hi Matt, very good show this morning you never let us down, just moved in to the area of Lincolnshire,do you know anyone at the Newark show that you can trust that breeds Red Mosaic that I can buy from latter in the year. Many Thanks Pete
I know that Kev Taylor has a very nice stud of red mosaic, he’s known for his greenies and is midlands but I think he goes to Newark, I’ll make some enquiries
Hi, they’re a different breed (although the harlequin was in all likelihood developed from red ground canaries) they harlequin should be tri-coloured, red mosaic are white with red mask and chest rump and wing butts, Red factors, although available in a variegated form, are mainly red with white tails and wings . Hope that helps
Appreciate your views, which you are of course entitled to, these are domestic birds kept and fed the very best available. It’s not for everyone I understand that but it’s a hobby that’s enjoyed worldwide

What do you use against tranchea mite?
Poor birds. It's such a shame people do this as a hobby.
