Small corrections - that's a speed density system - it does not use a MAF. What you are referring to as the MAF is actually the IAT sensor. The MAP sensor is on the intake near the power steering reservoir.
Thank you so much for your clear concise and easy-to-follow presentation. I am admittedly a moron when it comes to fixing vehicles and you made this so easy to understand! I hope you take that with a sincere amount of flattery that it was intended. Looking forward to giving this a shot I've been wanting to do this. Thank you again
You just saved me a $266 part and the labor they wanted to replace it. My 2009 Volkswagen Routan was almost exactly the same setup. At 91,000 miles the throttle did not want to open. When I took it off the back side looked like the enamel coated pots from childhood. A $7 bottle of throttle body cleaner and about twenty paper towels and Betsy is running like a champ again. Thank you for providing clear information and help. Do you have a charity your normally support? Someone should enjoy the $300 I saved and need to send along per Karma's normal SOP.

yall have saved me so much money with your videos on the dodge caravans...Thank you! my next project is to replace the throttle cable, mine is loose but there are no videos on a caravan...is changing the cable pretty generic in all vehicles or is it gonna be a dodge specific repair ?
If this is for the yrs 01-2010 can I throw any throttle house on my 04 caravan, 2 part when I put on the A.C. it's a low cool but u can hear a loud screech outside the vehicle thanks🤙🤙🤙
Question/help! I cleaned my throttle body awesomely thanks to your tips!...... But I ended up rotating the MAF sensor and not sure of the proper orientation to put for it.... I am assuming the raised arrow should meet with the intake hose? And the Notch should be even with the throttle body? Since it has a notch and also that raised bump to match with the hose???? Just making sure the maf is correct. Thanks in advance for any feedback!
I did this nice and clean, my van still runs like crap and misses when idling and driving. I cleaned the idle air control valve to and cleaned the mass air flow sensor, replaced the air filter. Replaced the plugs, wires, coil pack. Caravan still misses at idol and driving it hesitates and misses when shifting gears and accelerating. I feel like I could replace and clean everything and it would make no difference. All these videos are great to show you how to clean something but do they usually make a difference?

No, in your video when you are reconnecting battery you said, touch and make sure there is no spark.. but then you didnt explain :) If you read this can you tell me where on the throttle body to look for the TPS, ill be doing this in the next few days, was hoping to find a TPS on amazon for the 2009 Caravan 3.3l 6v SE. I can only seem to locate TPS up to 2007 on amazon so far.. you know of any ? any links if you do would be appreciated.. an old video I know so I wont hold my breathe, but thanks in advance if you do reply.
Actually those are a funny story. My uncle was a doctor and when he retired he cleaned out his office and he let me have all the medical towels. Those are the same towels that is used in the operation room. Couldn't let them go to waste as they were no longer sterile and unfit for human use. Thanks for watching!

Thanks a lot for this video. A socket 11/32 inch worked well with me so you can use it instead of E11 torx.

Hi,

It is no longer shaking but sometimes idles rough, the check engine light is on and it now says "cylinder 1 misfire", what should I do please? This goes to all out there and the experts, thanks
Did you ever find out what was wrong? I'm having the same issue with my van? Thanks
My 2003 Caravan 3.3 has a different style bolt set up on my throttle body
My 2004 Chrysler T&C 3.3L throttle body doesn't look anything like that! No throttle position sensor?
This video shows a 3.8L might be the same as the 4.0L as well not sure. I have the 3.8.
Question what is the symptoms of cleaning it?
Sluggish throttle or sometimes it will idle rough. Sometimes it even throws a throttle position code. Thanks for watching!
Hey!!! Isn't that truth that you should not to touch the little plate that is inside of the throttle body? Cuse the throttle body is electrical?
If the battery is plugged in. But we unplugged it. Thanks for watching!

Could a dirty or potentially bad throttle body cause an 08 Dodge Caravan to not start?
How do I bypass the rpm limiter when in park with a ram 1500 v6
Hi... thanks for the Video... one question! ... how did you fix the connector that feeds the the throttle body? Thanks again!
Thanks for watching! The electrical connector? You would need to solder on a new connector.
Would you please tell where to find it and whats the specific name of it? Im having a hard time finding it on internet...thanks
Awesome !!
You are!

I would definitely try a throttle body service. It’s free and solves a lot of problems!
@@2carpros the TB is super clean! i hoped it was dirty' but it looks great!
Would this resolve the unexpected acceleration of the car? It’s accelerating it’s own. Chrysler Town &Country 2010
Try this out and also look for a vacuum leak if it is surging. Thanks for watching!
I would change out the air filter while I was at it.
Is this the same step for a 2017 too
Where is the Throttle Position Sensor located? I just purchased the part and can’t figure out where it goes
On the side of the throttle body. Thanks for watching!
Where did you find the sensor? I was having trouble finding one to purchase. Autozone doesn’t have it.
