I had the privilege of seeing them in concert at the time of this video. They didn't put on a flashy stage show, but their songs were better live than in their studio recordings. Totally awesome performances. My number 1 band of all time.

Ann Wilson. Arguably the best female vocalist in rock. You have a DEEP Heart treasure chest to explore.

Heart was largely the work of Ann Wilson (lead vocals) and her younger sister Nancy Wilson (acoustic & rhythm guitar, vocals)... this was the classic 70's Heart, w/ Roger Fisher (guitar), Howard Leese (guitar & keyboards), Steve Fossen (bass) and Michael DeRosier (drums)... Roger Fisher quit in the late 70's (he dated Nancy Wilson, and was unable to be in a band w/ her after they broke up)... Fossen and DeRosier were fired in the early 80's (?)... Session members came in later as Heart's career got a makeover in 1985 and surged afterwards.

Wow ! .. I love this song, and I believe that although I have seen this performance on video before, this is the first time it was done actually live .. The other version I've seen has a dubbed studio version on it .. Both are great, and it's cool to see what Ann's vocals were like on the real live performance .. She didn't disappoint .. She was freakin' awesome !

This song...was the dividing line between the men and the boys on Guitar Hero III, expert setting.
That galloping pattern with alternating triplets was a bitch.

Song was written as a response to their record company make up lies about Anne & Nancy in order to create headline publicity interest to try and boost record sales, Anne wrote the song as a way of telling them to 'get lost'

Great Pick! Yeah, there are like 3 or 4 different versions of this song, from these shows back in 1977. Each version is just slightly different ALL Very Cool, Thank You, Tammy Curtis and Mr. Slop!

Sounds like a lot of wow and flutter on the video tape of the audio. Makes it sound out of tune. It's a great song.

I've heard that they used the beat to this song from Led Zeppelin's Achilles last stand, I checked it out and they definitely do sound the same. '70s Heart seemed more like a rock band but in the '80s they seemed more pop

It's no secret that Heart adored Zeppelin and you can hear influences in other songs such as Love Alive (Stairway To Heaven) , Babe Le Strange (Kashmir). Heart also performed Zep covers in their live shows, Stairway To Heaven & Rock'n'Roll . Michael DeRosier played a Bonham 'inspired' drum kit and definitely plays with that Bonham influenced style. Love Heart in their classic line up days
