Have been a Yankee fan since l was 10. I am now 75. I still can't wait for that smell of spring when baseball begins. My grandson took me to my first major league and Yankees game. Derek Jeter was my hero. Such a kind and wonderful man. Wish all players could be likle.him. l did not get to see Derek but l did get to see the Yankees play and go to Yankee Stadium.

The best baseball player I’ve ever seen. Wasn’t tooly all over the diamond, but man he cared about winning. He was clutch in big games. He had great hands and I’ve yet to see anyone drive the ball inside out and the other way better, before or after him. Great player. The best.

💯 RESPECT !!! Lifelong Braves fan here but , I'll say this. Never have I seen anyone in uniform with such drive and natural leadership. Never forget watching him run towards the stands after a foul ball. Anyone could see it would fall in the seats. 2-3 rows in , dude dove headfirst , came out with a shiner , I thought he'd break his neck. Unreal. Don't remember if he caught it or not. Didn't matter. If you tried to make a movie about the man's life, the producers wouldnt buy it because its too unrealistic. The running into the stands catch against arch rival Boston, the over the shoulder catch on openning day. the homeruns: on openning day, 3000th hit, leading off the world series game, the flip, the last hits at home and at Fenway. Just truly unbelievable over the top Hollywood stuff..but it really happened to the guy..and there's way more...

Good interview but those weird crazy so called fun questions at the end i could do without. Thats like something you do in grammar school, it’s like a childish lame version of Michael Kay’s centerstage, at least make the questions mature, relevant, and interesting. Lol wtf. Weird him calling Jeter a little bitch, what did he take an edible before the show? Did he really say that 😳 😂 And why the hell are they cutting out the tv clips in this youtube channel? Why in gods name would you do that? Makes no sense. Can we get it together here?? Also he should stop trying to keep a strict time limit on the show, just let them talk for an hour or two. Thats how you get the good stories. Also the George bush story was cool and everything and i want to love and respect that but the fact of the matter is George bush jr. was working for enemies of this country and still is in his retirement. I wasn’t proud of him throwing that ball and its unfortunate but he’s guilty of treason, and the people puppeteering him that he works for whether bush consciously knew it or not are responsible for the twin towers being attacked whether they had a direct hand in it or whether it was from complete incompetence. They could have stopped it easily and chose not to. They use the terrorists to do their dirty work. Love Jeter though, class act, entertaining interview I’m a lifelong Yankee fan from Queens. Hope you all enjoyed my rant. 😉
