Now that they have the 25 year rule as well, a lot of cars that could not be engineered are not being bought up to send over there.
right now you can import a R34 GTST for around 25k CAD into Canada so expect 50k+ for a GTST and 100k+ for a GTR when they are legal to USA as even now in Canada its hard to find an R34 GTR sub 100k
@@ThePhillkillv2 from what little I know is that Back in those days Nissan built the strut towers with layered steel stampings spot welded together and seam sealer applied to keep moisture out... except it doesn’t always work. Rust forms from the inside out and when you see this popping out like what is shown here Could be the tip of something much worse hiding underneath
The crease for the rear fender dips too low behind the door, and the bumper is cut to fit the upper lip on the stock GTT hood, whereas the GT-R hood opening sits higher. I’m not sure I like it, but it looks alright.
Isn't a genuine GT-R bumper wider than the GT-T? The GT-T look narrow & a bit small in stock form compared to the genuine GT-R. If only it has its own original kit so it can give more identity to it than dressing it up like a GT-R.
yo i got around 70k and im looking to buy a skyline, you got any recommendations on which model and mods i should get (i think the 2000 r34 is around 30k in aus (second-hand) but just looking for some guidance, since its my first car

It's a bit 'rice' but I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like it. That steering wheel and crazy off-set rims would have to go. Surprised this is only 5-speed though.
I couldn't care less, as long as it's a skyline and it looks good I would love to have it... Have to be blessed(rich) to own one of those in the states...

Depends on the trim level they can range from 3k-30k USD. I bought a grade 4 base NA auto ER34 coupe for $3200 2 years ago. Its the perfect platform to build on.

that strut tower rust is worrisome. i remember someone with an Silvia that had it and it turned into a rotting nightmare =(
Rust really isn’t that hard to deal with, it just takes time.

The GTR engine is more like 330bhp stock. It was only officially measured at 280 at a lower rpm to satisfy the "gentleman's agreement".

Those intercoolers are called return-flow, they don't flow as well, but definitely easier piping.

You better not pay 10k for a base model GT. I bought mine for $3,200 from the auction. 10k they are really giving you the shaft if you pay that.
