Becky, putting those screws in the book table to someday change out books was a boss move...genius! I like the color you picked for the wicker piece. Good job!
The fact that you muted the “hey google” so it doesn’t activate the viewers google homes too is attention to detail and care that I absolutely adore 🥰 thank you editor 🤘
I dont have a Google device so I always have a freak out moment that I've gone deaf 😂 it takes these kinds of comments for me to remember other people actually own them and they get set off
The threaded rods for the book table are GENIUS. Initially I was like “i mean that’s a cool table and all but WHAT IF YOU WANT DIFFERENT BOOKS” Love that you found a way to make that possible! And it seemed really attainable as a DIY too
I agree, total game changer to be able to switch them out! Though I did see a comment that said that the original artist made It to capture a special moment in their life and each book represented that time, which is lovely
Becky, you have the coolest house. I don't want much retro in my space but you do it _so_ well! Love the low wall shelf in your house that holds the Bauhaus print. I need more of these Becky videos where she takes us through her process start to finish. She's a creative queen with impeccable teaching skills and her woodworking projects/DIY upgrades are some of the most interesting. Really like how the book table came out. It's like a love letter to the books you want forever, but make it sustainable!
Becky and TSG, this is probably my all time favorite. I feel like we really got to know Becky on a deeper level, got to see the process of projects, and I love the final pieces. Love love love! ❤️
go becky go!!! this is my favorite sorry girls video in a while..... your thought process voice over in the beginning was really enjoyable and the book side table was both original and well executed. go becky!
Same! The filming, the information shared, it was calming, relaxed, entertaining.. the part of Becky laying on the couch with the mic, I was like “wow Becky. Go Queen.” This video was the best of theirs I’ve seen.
this has to be my *favorite* video you have done in a long time. the style of editing and video is INCREDIBLE. it's simultaneously a movie and a tutorial. idk why but there were moments that gave me La La Land vibes (just with the soundtrack music).
I'd found you guys 10 years ago looking for simple Halloween costume ideas, and here you are now pulling off literal sorcery???? THE BOOK TABLE IS INSANEEEEEE. BECKY YOU DID THAT!!!! ok got too excited bye
I’ve been watching y’all’s channel religiously for three or four years and I am so impressed with how you all have grown and changed. 💕 Your skills are constantly improving and I’m always excited for an upload each week.
This book table is now, officially, my favorite Becky project. I am going to make this table! I was watching and thinking about how I have special books that are just in stacks or on a shelf, lost to the chaos. I love how this not only makes them special, but turns them into art. Useful art. Also, just as I was thinking: But what if you wanted to switch out books? BAM! Becky thought of that. I’m gonna do it too, damn it! Can’t wait! Thank you.
WOW, I'm just loving this more honest and artsy kind of video. Showing a lot more of lifestyle and vulnerability in narration (I can already see Rachel's touch there in the team!). Great work Sorry Girls Team!
Gotta say I am ALL FOR this video style. I like that it's showing the more realistic side of how a lot of us also work on projects in no specific timeline, and the artistic talking head segments with Becky were very pleasant. These projects came out amazing!
You could also screw the glas on top of the table an make it hold to just one corner so you can turn the glas piece to the side the get to one of the books. in the other corners you could screw spacers. hope you understand what I'm trying to say :) Great work btw
This was definitely my favorite video in a long time. I love the more relaxed/lifestyle vibe of the recent videos. Also always love going down a mid century rabbit hole with Becky. Lastly, the new set in the studio is so gorgeous. Y’all are killing it 😍
That book table has been on both my Pinterest board and Etsy wishlist for years. Glad to see you figured out how to do it and can try it myself. Loved the twist made to it. Also loved the Becky Ted talk that came along with it.
Becky you should totally make a series incorporating concepts with that awesome book from the 40s!!!! (Love you both your channel and you guys so much!) 💕
Oh my goodness, I think this is my favorite video format with you Becky!!! I felt like I was chilling with you talking out our ideas. So lofi and relaxed 😌
This is one of my very favorite SorryGirls episodes, particularly the book side table and particularly the modification Becky made so that it can books can be added, subtracted and substituted. I agree with her that it needs a glass top. But it’s fantastic!
I love this mix of scripted and unscripted! Hearing Becky's voiceover at the beginning talking about her Pinterest board was kind of beautiful and poetic. And then I've always loved seeing Becky and Kelsey in their homes doing DIYs. Perfect mix! Hope to see more!
Becky, you did that. I love how you went back and forth and allowed your creative juices to flow by distracting yourself with the other project. They both turned out amazing. I do that thing... standing in the store and staring at the materials until something comes, LOL. I really enjoyed this process, thanks. Awesome projects!!!
I really like this video style. Narrative and add ons of slice of life seems very comforting and calm ❤ loved both DYI, but book table is my favorite. Excellent statement piece for the room
Becky this video format was OUTSTANDING! The VIBE when you where in the couch... I cannot! Yes queen! Absolutely loved the soulful talks and the sass ❤ all the tiny finger snaps to you (and the team)!
Becky!! Literally my fave sorry girls vid of all time. Loved the projects, but also the time you took to walk us through your thinking and the fact that you validated that the creative process is not always linear! Lastly - the way you opened up about why the design books you chose for the book table was wonderful and made me feel like I was seeing a different facet of your interests. Keep it up - I’m here for it!!
This video is fiirreee!!! First, Becky talking out her plans and saying does this make sense.... YES and not only that but it’s beautifully logical! I am always so impressed by you and the whole team. 👏🏻🔥👏🏻
A magnetized piece of plexiglass could be really cool on top of the table. Drill small holes in the wood and then secure the small magnets down in the holes. Then adhere the other part of the magnet onto the plexiglass so it can sort of float on top and yet be removed easily.
Becky nerding out about the 1940’s book is the cutest and most fascinating thing ever! And now I want more content like that! Please, Becky, tell memore about your passion for mid century design!
I don’t normally comment but I just felt this video on another level. I can feel Becky’s passion and inspiration through the screen! I felt like I was hanging out with her and the small clips of making coffee, having dinner, painting her nails just really made more relatable. Keep up the great work TSG team!
I was just thinking about the glass and then you mentioned it. Definitelly putting some glass on top to prevent beverages from damaging the books is the right move. Stunning table! And I love that you can change it up.
I love this video so much! The editing? Amazing. The rattan barrel shelf? So good. The BOOKTABLE? Sublime. Hotel? Trivago. In all seriousness, you have outdone yourself Becky and I love it! I can't believe I get to watch this content for free lol

The C&B inspired shelf turned out quite nice as well, I was in the minority for painting it black but it suits your home in the light color (& can be changed if you choose 😂). Thanks for sharing two fantastic ideas! Sending you, Austin & the entire TSG team lots of 🤗,💜 & 🙏🏻 for a healthy, happy & Blessed week! (😘😘 to Danny as well of course)

I loved that you said "we're geeking out together" rather than something like "bare with me geeking out" because it was so inclusive and encouraging others to geek out with their passions ☺️👍 plus I totally was geeking out with you, such a fascinating book!
