Thanks. Mine arrives today on a Black Friday deal from Amazon. Have been using an LG Curved Ultrawide 34" for 3 years. Look forward to my first 4K. Stayed with LG because of quality.
Set it up on my desk but haven't turned it on yet. It's taller than my LG 34" curved ultrawide and a little less wide. Looks like the perfect size for video editing in my small apartment. Beautiful and sturdy body. Will update once i turn it on and connect it to my also new Asus ZenBook Pro 14 Duo. @pogopolo
Mind blowing out of the box. Have changed no settings, just Picture Mode from Custom to either Vivid or Cinema or HDR. Connected to my also brand new ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 Duo 14.5” 16:10 Touch Display, 120Hz Refresh Rate, ScreenPad Plus, Intel i9-13900H CPU, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4050, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Windows 11 Home. I'm using the supplied HDMI cable that came with the monitor, though USB C is also supplied. I don't need to use USB C. I use my two USB C ports on my laptop for external drives for video editing. I use my laptop as a video editing workstation and it's always plugged in but using the Battery setting of "Smart Charging" where it limits charging to 85%. Wonderful 4K monitor for video editing. My previous monitor is also a wonderful LG 34WN80C-B UltraWide Monitor 34” 21:9 Curved WQHD (3440 x 1440) IPS Display, USB Type-C (60W PD) , sRGB 99% Color Gamut. While I love the Ultrawide, this newer 4K monitor has more vertical real estate which I enjoy for Adobe CC. @pogopolo
@pogopolo returned it. While it's got nice colors and text sharpness, my particular unit had a fatal flaw ... if I'm on a weboage with a white background like an Amazon page, while scrolling down or up the screen darkens. If I pause there the screen on uts own very slowly dials up the brightness to its original level. So even in Adobe Premiere which has a gray background, this issue is visible as the clips can be seen going dark and slowly back to normal again.
LG 32UP83A-W is 2021 model are you planning to test the 2022 model LG UQ850 or 32UQ85R ( the same but with a calibration device included ) with Nano IPS Black and HP Z32K G3 with IPS Black. The biggest disadvantage of LG is the lack of it Picture by Picture or Picture in Picture - they only put this in ultra wide series but Dell U3223QE offers this as standard. Can you compare these LG's to Dell U3223QE ? Thank you for all your work and great content 😊 I think that today for content work only IPS Black: Dell U3223QE or HP Z32K G3 or LG UQ850 or 32UQ85R ( LG lacks of PiP & PbP mode ).
I got the dell U3223QE and then the LG UQ850 for the IPS black. Both are amazing during the day, but I had to return them and get the 2021 LG. The IPS glow on IPS Black panels is ridiculous and (for me) it’s not usable in a dark environment. So you will have your darkmode on macos, you open figma or photoshop, and the bottom two corners they look brownish and ugly. Also if u wanna watch a movie or anything with a dark background it looks really ugly!
Great review. I just bought this. But you’re not showing how you calibrated your monitor. In picture mode, I have a lot of grayed out options that I can’t even use.
Great video! I currently have a Samsung 34" Ultra Wide 1440P monitor and I hate it because I use for productivity and can see text not crisp. I did oder this monitor and will be here next week and looking forward to getting it setup. I'll pass this monitor down to my wife ;-)
If you plug a computer in via USB-C and use the USB-A downstream ports, does the monitor run at 60Hz with USB 2.0 speed downstream, or does it run at 30Hz with USB 3.0 speed downstream? On Dell monitors, this is configurable.
Hi, can you check if it suffers from blurry edges? Some monitors have this issue where if you look at the monitor from an angle, the edges look blurry because the backlight is behind the border. Thanks.
because not everyone does PC gaming. Some people like a monitor which can work and run a games console. I game PS5 on a 60hz monitor that I also use for work. I don't need more than 60hz.
Amazon has this monitor on discount for $300 today and I was wondering if you would recommend picking it up?

Up to now, how is your new LG 32UP83A-W 32"? Is it good and has no defects?
@@TaiLe-dr5ve I am very happy with this monitor. No issues what so ever. Good picture quality especially for productivity use.

Beautiful 🥰 i want it but not money...thank u for presentation!!! keep going!!!

Man this monitor any problem like usb cable monitor lines
Beter than the 32UN880-b ?????
First
60hz monitor? That's an easy pass to any further coverage of this model.
who care's? we don't need gamer crap features on a monitor.
Productivity monitors don't need useless gaming monitor features
@@someone90000 I already won this debate. I retire as champion.
60hz?? Why bother reviewing?

seems like everybody and their mothers wants a higher refresh rate monitor, but for work (which is why I got this monitor) that's complete overkill
