How great! I was protesting with the farmers that day. We were with 25 'trekkers and more than 100 came with us on the highway to Utrecht. As i can see now you drove right past me at the A12. It is so hard to be a farmer in Holland these days. It was time to show the government that things had to change. I'm glad that in Holland you are aloud to drive through the lanes so we couldn't hold you up.
I kept thinking that you must be getting close to leaving, and sure enough, here you go. You have very carefully selected items for this journey that should make it a little easier and more comfortable. At 01:24, I was intrigued by your mention of the "semi automatic" chain oiler. I already had a "long debate" myself about a chain oiler that works with the vacuum of the engine and delivers oil to the chain on a ongoing basis. I decided at the time that I didn't want to deal with the added complexity. The more I read about the OSCO chain oiler, the more I liked it. I now understand what you meant by "semi automatic". It's a convenient way to oil the chain when it's really needed. For example, after a long ride in the rain. This is best done while the chain is still hot. Looks like one pushes on a plunger to build up pressure inside the oil container and then walks the bike at 5km +/- for the next 10 seconds +/-. The device will deliver about 2 cc of oil to the chain. Not only does this device simple and convenient but it will also work with "normal gear oil" such as 75W90 which I already have and was the final "practical" recommendation from "Ryan-F9". (Disclaimer: Ryan works at FortNine.ca). See his video on the subject (1M views) at: [ th-cam.com/video/VnPYdcbcAe0/w-d-xo.html ] . Eventually the chain will need to be cleaned. But that's a job I will leave for my mechanic on my next oil change. 😎

@@somusekhar2793 Has nothing to do with how small or big the population is. There's a high density per square km but they still manage to develop a high quality infrastructure for bikes. Let's see if India will EVER manage to do that.

I lived in the Yukon for years, the snow can still be on the roads until March and ice not off the lakes until May.... so I think you're starting your ride a bit early unless it's going to take over 6 months... hope you're safe! Love your channel!

Hi, I live in the UK near Heathrow and have driven to Holland many times but always via calais and the tunnel, mainly to avoid the long sea crossing and driving to London from Harwich !
I am in awe of the courage you have going to some of the countries you do, you really are an inspiration to many. You do not rely on back up crews but just get on with it. happy trails for the next adventure, I can't wait. Also glad to see companies are supporting you, you deserve it. I have been riding for 50 years now and have no intention of hanging up my boots so i hope you keep going as long, but you might run out of places to go. We do have some nice back roads in New Zealand but not as extreme as you seem to like....Keep on truckin....

As for your chain oiler. it is very easy to maintain. I have the Scott automatic chain oiler on my bike. you can put any sort of oil you like. the oil will not damage your device. I like to recycle every thing. So 95% of the time, i just put used cooking oil. and my chain is now 67,000 km already.
After your travel in Russia, i'm whatching you! After Alaska (former Russian land btw) you can make new travel - around whole Russia! It's huge from East coast (Chukotka) to West coast (Kaliningrad). It's gonna be HUGE, GREAT moto-travel!
Your bike looks great. All set to go. FYI. In the states all portable gas cans have to be red in color. You'll have to paint those gas cans if you want to fill them.

Noraly add to your blog world map the trip from Netherlands to England. Didn't your trip start when you picked up Dhanno at importer and started planning. The 2,300 km should count also! Running around and preparing is part of the adventure! Hope you had smooth waters across the channel!

As for your chain oiler. it is very easy to maintain. I have the Scott automatic chain oiler on my bike. you can put any sort of oil you like. the oil will not damage your device. I like to recycle every thing. So 95% of the time, i just put used cooking oil. and my chain is now 67,000 km already.

After your travel in Russia, i'm whatching you! After Alaska (former Russian land btw) you can make new travel - around whole Russia! It's huge from East coast (Chukotka) to West coast (Kaliningrad). It's gonna be HUGE, GREAT moto-travel!

Your bike looks great. All set to go. FYI. In the states all portable gas cans have to be red in color. You'll have to paint those gas cans if you want to fill them.

I am not really sure if you are coming to my land ( Chile ) but if you do I will be happy to see you, let me give you a little suggestion. Be careful with the windy area (Patagonia) you can go right down to the ground also your bike Dhanno when the weather is extremely windy. Can't wait to see all of your videos. Good luck. 🙂

Buenos Aires is GREAT! Be sure to take in some tango while there. I’m a tanguero (male tango dancer) as well as a biker, and have been to BsAs 10x for tango festivals.
Also, be wary of the drivers in BsAs.
Hope you get to take in the AMAZING Iguazu Falls, bordering Argentina and Brazil.
