For anyone wondering, woodpeckers don't really damage trees that bad, but the insects and fungus that the woodpeckers eat do. The tree is already losing by the time a woodpecker gets to it
Woodpeckers are neutral to trees, they can help speed infections, but they also eat grubs and other little nasty things that are actively eating the tree and harming it
Woodpeckers typically peck for bugs that live in the tree. So if anything Woodpeckers help the tree since they are removing the parasites causing the tree to rot. At worst a Woodpecker may dig into a rotted spot and make the trees integrity worse, but that would happen eventually even without the bird.
I remember I was playing this once and was like "Man some fertilizer would make this so much easier!" And then got to the point where you unlock the fertilizer. I was SHOCKED.
Fun fact, I've been collecting every penny I found on the street for years just to see how much money I could acquire by doing so. Not every piece of loose change, just the pennies. There's been a noticeable drop over the time I've been doing this, which is about a decade or so by now, but overall I've got maybe 3 dollars. Most of that was collected in the first five years, I think I've gotten like 10 cents in the last year, if that. The whole collection is an impressive number of pennies to have in one place, too many to comfortably fit in one hand...but it's still not that much money.
19:24 i thought the game is going to end by level 25 since there is no more items for me to lock but i kept playing till wave 31, it might never end lol. early rounds you dont want to have a full circle of bushes since those are expensive and takes forever to evolve to tier 3. The bushes are really only good to distract the monsters that shoots bullets since its more cost effective to replace 2 flowers than the 1 week bushes that does no damage. By the times I had 5 circles of flowers is where I got the rockets, i had all of the flowers except the pink ones replaced for the rockets ones the giant monsters start showing. And you dont need a lot of those pink flowers either 2 on each side of the tree with do fine for a long while. Its just pretty important to give the bushes time to grow and dont jump start to next wave.

I can't think of how to explain it, but no. As proof, a 2x2 is 4 while a 4x4 is 16, a 6x6 is 36, and an 8x8 is 64. And since the amount that is needed to increase by is rising by an ever increasing amount each time, it is exponential.
