    Dude, this was easily fixable…. Why didn’t you go to triumph?

    Your brakes need bleeding. Bleed out the previous brake oil and pour new one. If your brake lines are not steel breded you might want to change them.

    Nice clickbait. You need to bleed your brake lines. This is not a design issue and is specific to your bike. My Speed 400 is not like this and the braking is excellent. Get it checked before riding again.

      It wasn't really a clickbait. The 2nd accident was pretty bad. And ya, it does seem like this unit specific issue but Bajaj has built it to triumph standards so there should have been absolutely no issue in any of the units (specially brakes) which is hardly 7-8 months old.

    If brakes are not ok why did you rode it on road

      The brakes were working dude. But not up to the mark. When you ride it you feel it’s all good. May be the bikes brakes are setup like this. But once you check other speed 400 you realise there is a problem with mine.
      It’s not that the brakes have completely failed and don’t work at all.

      Bro ive gone to the service centre maybe 10 times because the brakes are so spongy and feel so bad. Ive ridden other speed 400 bikes and the front breaks are soo good.@@applefans100

    This is a minor issue can be easily fixable at street bike workshops. You don't need video but skills.

    Sorry that you had to go through it however, its been more than 4 months since you've owned the bike, you could have got it checked at the service centre , when you met with the first accident.
    Anyways, please ride safely and always wear a helmet.

      @applefans100  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s true! Wish I came to know about the problem before. As the service centre is 120km away I couldn’t even ride that far to get things checked frequently.

      @@applefans100 Ride safe, mate.
      Its a nice motorcycle and like any other bike, it will require timely maintenance. I hope they come up with a service center near your place so that you don't have to travel that much.

    Ive had a front break issue, gone to triumph svc maybe 10 times. Bled many times changed cylinder changed the lever, nothing. The lever goes more than half way before giving any feedback at all. They said its same on Other speed 400s and i said bullshit my friend has same bike and the front breaks are excellent. Fed up with it cause its not safe. Love this bike so much other than this. Will buy axial master cylinder and lever.

      Hey bro, there is a problem with the Master Cylinder kit otherwise called MC kit. I got that changed from a local shop and the issue is solved. In fact the new MC Kit put in my bike is of Royal Enfield. Any MC Kit from KTM and Bajaj will fit into it and costs around Rs. 250/- Check that and get it changed you will thank me later.

    I once cancelled my decision of buying an Xpulse 200 because the front brake on the test ride bike was too spongey

  • @joshzz28

    This is clearly a fault of the PDI and you being a seemingly new rider should still have been able to notice that the brakes were not right.

    This is a bleeding issue, sometimes it happens due to air inside the hose or clipper, its easy to bleed air.

  • @RRP1992
    @RRP1992 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Seems like an issue of either low brake fluid or air in the brake line. Please get it fixed from triumph service center.

  • @FIELDSOFFORTUNE

    Bro, request the service team to change the seals of master cylinder and calipers change it with a good brake fluid . This will solve your spongy brake problem.
    And always change your engine oil to a good brand (Castrol or motul) . The stock oil is not that good & it may affect the engine life. I recently have changed it to Castrol 10w50 super bike oil & i can feel the difference!!

    • @applefans100
      @applefans100  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure! I will talk to them about this. And for the 15k service I am planning to change the oil to motul.

  • @warrennorton6519

    Clean brake rotors! Full of factory wax. Bleed brakes as there is air in the system. Brakes are super good for a single rotor in the front

    Go get some basic automobile knowledge before getting into machines like these or else stick towards service centre guys most of the triumph service engineers hear you out until your issue is solved don't just blame as if please.
    This is just fluid block in your brake lining flush your brake fluid add new bleed the line properly with out air lock then you're done still you face the same issue check the lining for leakage if so ask triump to change it under warranty

    Might be a bike issue but I think you were over speeding.

    • @applefans100
      @applefans100  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's true, my speed was on the higher side. But a bike with proper powerful breaks would have slowed down the bike drastically. But my bike didn't even after braking hard.
