I remember one tester with a bike with Marzocchi forks making a joke about how much they bounced. You would only hit every other bump with them, so in a sense they were smoother. They had problems with stiction and valving.

Maybe look into renewing the shocks on its at some point vagas , recon you ll never go back to 4strokes then. Love the Chanel keep them coming pal.

Part of your arm pump problems could also be due to the vibration through the bars on a 2 stroke that your not used to coming off a 4 stroke.
maybe some rubber bar mounts or dead ends in the bars may help.
The carb. circuits seem to accomodate changes to exhaust timing. I guess it doesn't get near the power valve circuit.
whats your sprocket set up?
I'm in two minds wether to get a yz125 or a yz250f, two stroke are so much fun I have to say, but 4 stroke are way cheaper to run and don't need as much spent on them, not had a bike since my kx80 days of road, but I ride a ktm 1290 road bike, so I like power but off road in my area is limited, we have one place and u would never be able to open up a 450 or the likes, so 125-250 is enough, as I'm not wanting to travel and the off road quarry is 2mins from my house lol
Polar Bear hi mate sound like your similar to me I opted for a cr250 which is far to powerful for me but I am loving trying to tame her. Got a flywheel weight on order to tame her, but any way go for the 250 two stroke 👍
