Honestly, what a pleasure to listen to. Thank you both sincerely. I am in Canada, and I honestly was supposed to be in bed for work, and I absolutely could not stop listening haha...My ear buds were hitten in the blankets because I fell asleep listening lol. As a long time student of the Occult, I consider this kind of thing pretty often, and from a child often on and off over my whole life. What is being said here really is what people have been saying for decades in a "modern account" sense. The two phenomena really do appear to be connected, whether or not this is "spiritual," and UFOs are "slightly something else", or its the same thing we don't know at all. The point is more information always helps. Here's my two cents: I first heard of people getting "sick of it" from the time I was child. A couple in Nova Scotia. Shadows running past the kitchen window...thuds on the roof ect. And it went on for so long I distinctly remember the sentiment being "Were sick of it". For my part that rang true. My Best regards
I’m so happy to find a 🇬🇧 podcast and some 🇬🇧 guests (I saw a 🔺in the 90’s in northern England) I did enjoy Paul saying “we’ll call him Jim cos that was his name”
I have been listening to this account since probably the first time Paul ever told about it and it’s just so fascinating. I believe this in itself could be a book or part of a collection of accounts that have more information than just a typical account.
Try to make it short,im in hunmanby, about two years ago, burning wood at night, metal bin burner.time after midnight, went out to check fire had died down unuff to leave it,put lid on,it was a very foggy night, all was quiet, hunmanby on a night, you could hear a cat fart!its quiet.from over my roof a white light, with a surrounding glare caused by the fog silently travelled over my roof, and beyond other roofs away, must have took 30 seconds,as big as a street lamp, maybe 100 feet up,im thinking, what is that?not a helicopter, not a drone, not a plane,no noise, too low anyway, like it was hiding in the fog, late at night,in a quiet village,no time to get a camera, the thing that got me was it was too big to be anything but what would give off sound, but it it made no sound, ive seen loads of better ufo,s since the 80,s but as its hunmanby thought id share.
i AM VERY GLAD THAT THE FULL STORY IS BEING TOLD. aLL TO OFTEN WE MAY BE MISSING OUT ON RELEVANT ASPECTS TO AN EVEN, BECAUSE PEOPLE IMAGINE IT TO LACK RELEVANCE.
I live in the village my grandma has also live here she sed she was walking her dog and herd a big wooosh and looked up and saw moving lights in the sky also me and my friends were in the park next to the school and we heard noises of animals being killed in the field next to it and seeing as tho it was 10 at night we thought this to be very strange also one night me and my friends were walking past the church and were convinced we saw our friends at the other path we then went to see and no one was there looked all around the place everywhere no one was there called our friends to see where they were and said they were on holiday in Spain
It's strange to be out working in Asia following UFOTwitter and finding people talking about UFO incidents back near my home town. It really is everywhere. Hunmanby is a sleepy little town by the North Sea coast where (no offense) nothing ever happened. For what it's worth, RAF Fylindales (with big radars) is only 20 miles away. Driffield Training Area is 15 miles away. I've hiked past there and seen armoured vehicles apparently doing basic training on a track. I believe that military aircraft are active in the nearby North Yorkshire Moors national park. RAF Leeming is on the other side of the park, 50 miles away. That's about as much loval knowledge as I can offer.
This was absolutely brilliant. I saw a circular ufo craft very close up in 1989, it went over me just 50 feet above me. Absolutely no doubt about what I saw. 👍🇬🇧
Andy and Paul, u should both contact grant Cameron about this case! The use of aports and the dropping of items and especially coins is right up his street! The piles of dirt to, this happens more than u think, and grant is the only guy I know who covers this in the depth he does! Great listen and interview 👌 ty and well done
Andy you need to talk to Ryan Sprague and Nick Redfern who wrote a book about the Men in Black. Ryan just did a show on this. I am catching up on older podcasts. Loved this one.
I think there is a definate link between ufos and paranormal type phenomenon . In 2010 we started to see ufos in our area and at the same time we experienced eruptions of poltergeist type phenomenon in our house . It went on for quite some time before it eventually petered out completely
Any device that involves electronics such as capacitors etc can power up even if not plugged in or attached to any power source if there is a large amount of RF energy in the air . Things will suddenly start up , things will glow brightly and all kinds of weird things can happen , I have first hand experience of it and as a radio ham have studied it. It happens . I think you mentioned this happened around 1997 , which was around the peak of the sunspot cycle ( every 11 years) I may be wrong of course but this is one explanation .
As Thatcher said, to an author, while at a dinner,"The public mustn't know." I have no idea what that might mean, but certainly the British and the Americans are behind all the secrecy. How the military are involved is very curious, and I wonder which arm of the military it would involve. Further, what are the weapons for? As the civilians involved are no threat to them, and it is only the alien presence which remains, so do weapons work effectively against them, or does it simply comfort the military?
A shifting magnetic anomaly, may occur with a craft being underwater? Otherwise, anomalies are constant. A major anomaly exists to the south-east of South America. It has been there a long time.
I saw a 🔺 set of lights along with my mam in Summer 96 a few miles from here where Paul is talking of but inland. It was night so we didn’t know what it was.
Caz Clarke has my favorite account of seeing a ufo. Whether you believe her or not, it's a really interesting story. If she's acting, she's damn good as well.
This was a great podcast an excellently told. I have one issue though and maybe commentators can point me in the right direction. The grave. I find it odd that in victorian times a body would be buried in the area described and not in a graveyard. The next thing is records for exhuming the grave. Records would have been kept and it would mostly likely have made the papers - wheres the evidence? It just seem to me to be a convenient plot device. Regardless, I really enjoyed this one
I agree it has puzzled me, but I say it as it is told to me. The account would not be any more or less without the grave marker though. And to be fare to the men involved, they could not accurately remember the name or the year carved into the grave marker
@@paulsinclair6315 thanks for the reply Paul. I've listened to this podcast again this morning and you are dead right. The grave marker makes no difference whatsoever to the overall story and it just appears to be an oddity. I live in Lincolnshire but spent most my childhood (and still go a few times a year) in the Scarborough/whitby area. It's a beautiful area and love going. I've never seen anything unfortunately 😔 Not sure how 'active' the Lincolnshire wolds are for UFO activity. I've never heard of any tales !
@@matthewrussell8590 I spent years observing and talking with farmers on the East Yorkshire Wolds between 2002 and 2009. It was very active, maybe ask some of the land owners. I do realize that is easier said than done.
More information on the "military" aspect around the highstrangeness would have made the story more interesting I feel. Now it is only half the story. Or is this where Paul has information he can not discuss.
What military people reported seeing a creature on the hill? What is the context? The months and the dates aren't relevant to me, it is the actual details which count. The difference between February and November are insignificant.
OK here’s the thing why are you even tell the story if you’re gonna hold back details I’m assuming the details are key details…there’s alot of things I don’t get or am missing but all in all from what I’ve heard, sounds made up to me

I came here to see if I was the only one. Lol, I have friends that tell stories like that. I get he’s trying to set the scene. But so many unnecessary details. “Jim, who’s married to Leslie who has a farm in Berkshire, went to work, she’s a cook btw..” it’s too much to follow
It's real strange how much I love this guy tell stories.

The poltergeist and trickster element of the UFO phenomenon is particularly disturbing, I feel.
