Just started and immediately love the honesty. It is exceptionally rare -to the point where I've never heard it before despite discussing this for decades- for a parent or potential-parent to acknowledge that they had children for themselves. "Self-interested" is a clever way of describing that softly (as opposed to "selfish", which is likely to get a heated reaction). Very thoughtful!
Tim, thank you for addressing my questions at [43:25] and [53:14]-your insights on longevity protocols and handling grief, as well as coping with the loss of a pet, really resonated with me. The balance you shared between self-care and staying present during moments of loss hit home, especially the practical and heartfelt approach to honoring both our own needs and those of loved ones (human or furry). It's comforting to see these tough topics addressed with such vulnerability and thoughtfulness. 🙏
I have great success in self regulating my physiological responses by calming the nervous system. And you are right, thoughts are not the starting point to work on. This topic would also be a great podcast idea:) Thank you for bringing up this topic here!
Well explained. Thanks for bringing up the videos financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject.
I love what you are doing, thank you so much 🙏. It really hits something, even though I cannot fully articulate what... If you are looking for more interview guests, do consider Fr. Richard Rohr, a leading authority on contemporary and mystical Christianity and one of Brené Brown's favourites... May you be well.
Tim, thanks so much for all of your work. I especially find your information to cope with depression very helpful. Curious if you’ve come across the work of Ken Wilber (Breif History of Everything)? I think you would like it. My favorite of his is Kosmic Consciousness 🙏
Crickey. I just jumped to a massive conclusion, your assessing changing gender’s. That could be a great next book! Whilst having some cutie pie babies!! 😂😂 . Freestyle it Tim! Come to NZ and hang out!
It’s not the cam. It’s the undiffused light shining on his head from above. Lots of contrast between bright and shadow. Human eyes can process it. The majority of camera sensors cannot. He needs some diffusion on the light above, and a little soft fill light of the same temperature in front = Beautiful Boy!
I saw the thumbnail and thought it was a livestream with a streamer called Urgency 😂. I don't know if such a person exists, but I just learnt there's a dude called Destiny so it seemed plausible.
Listened to some of the first Q&As, then skipped through the video a bit, and I'm wondering: In which part are you getting into the topic of living with urgency? 😅 I don't see it pointed out in the video description or chapter titles. The word "urgency" doesn't even appear in the transcript.

@40:00 we would love to hear what some of these strange, possibly trippy, experiences were! 🍄 And you rock, Tim. The innovative content, insight and inspiration you instill in others is an incredible gift to humanity. Your karma is so good that I bet your shit literally doesn't stink 📚✌🏻no seriously, you're like half Jesus at least. By 2030, I bet you'll have a solar-powered condo above the clouds that you didn't even have to buy! Thanks for all you do, homey
Have to say something about the great dads. My sister told me what she recently watched on tv. It was about drug addicts in America. And the only parent who was looking for the kids (adults) if they were ok and if they were still alive were the mothers. Where were the good dads then?

Let’s go on a date in nashville ! 🎉🎉❤
Tim, your endorsement of technical gadgets weigh less when this is the quality of your webcam, just FYI.

bro it's a Q and A who cares about high resolution. Technicians use the right amount of technology for it's application

My bladder seems to have taken this advice
Who are the ppl in the Livestream?
I saw the thumbnail and thought it was a livestream with a streamer called Urgency 😂. I don't know if such a person exists, but I just learnt there's a dude called Destiny so it seemed plausible.
59:10 - “fiction vs highly researched non fiction” - I do feel that great fiction is also a result of highly researched domains

Tim have you seen/head about solo leveling? The art in this manhwa(manga) is great, check them out if you can.
Hey Tim have you ever looked into OCD?
He was diagnosed with OCD. He spoke about on a random show with Kevin Rose
So “4 hour dad” is next? 😊
Tim, I have a personal question for you. How come you never fell down the right wing grifthole that so many podcasters and alt media fell into?
Have to say something about the great dads.

Man these word sald podcasts make me cringe....
