Windows11 gets better performance (if you meet the min requirements). I myself use an Ryzen 9 7900 and Adobe's apps and games load and perform much better
@@ireallyplay Planning to switch to Linux after 10 regardless; need some juicy custom DE/WM eye candy and performance instead of constant manual optimization, account requirements, AI nonsense and advertisements. Definitely going with an AMD upgrade sooner or later since my GTX 1080 is on life support now, probably.

All "modern" devices the goal is to build for the future not the past
I mean, I understand that Microsoft is probably taking on the initiative to set a precedent for the PC parts manufacturers to start incorporating security features into systems, requiring new PCs to have those features, to run the newest version of the most popular/widely used operating system.
I would myself prefer an option to run Win11 at your own risk on hardware that does not have those security features, maybe by using an installation, that is officially sported, but requires a more advanced user to install. Although if the hardware security features are a part of the base structure o the OS, that might require a modification of the OS entirely, and using the logic below, I don't think they would bother with that for potentially a minuscule amount of customers.
On the other hand, with Win10 being supported until 2025, I (and probably allot of other people also) will be replacing our PCs in that time, since systems on the market for the last few years, have at least one of the options required to run the new Win11, and those PCs older will probably be quite poor in performance by then anyway or have parts failing that are almost impossible to get at that point. If my "old" PCs are still usable by then, I might just use them for other stuff (either offline Win10 or Linux), but my main PCs will be upgraded by then anyway, so I think the scare of not being able to run the Win11 is a bit of an overreaction in my opinion, looking at how people realistically use/replace devices/PCs.

@@sharl1633of course not, Windows 11 has more powerful graphical capabilities, which can't be run by most Windows 10 PCs. Which means, no Windows 11 updates directly on Windows 10 through mods, only Windows 11 on unsupported devices with some tricks.

Loving Windows 11 after the 23H2 update. I switched to Win11 from Win10 when it first came out, but quickly downgraded because I found a lot of bugs. Now it’s the best OS out there IMO. Feels a lot like MacOs and I love it.

Early adpoter of Windows 11 here since version 22000.51 to 22631.2338 and ongoing! This is the first time I've ever excited about the growth of an operating system since Windows 10. These features combines with beautifully crafted UI experience made me awed every time I turn on my laptop. Setting up my college account has never been so easy.
Struggle start but came back strong and even faster than my old Windows 10 days, Windows 11 has come a long way of winning my heart.

Windows 7 was great, you can't argue that. But Windows 10 is definitely superior, there's too many nice features to even start listing. But the only thing Microsoft needs to fix is their updates that keep breaking stuff.

It must be said that it is following the same step as XP, at first it did not have much reception and there were compatibility problems, but then it improved, and now that I am using Windows 11 and it works faster and faster, and that is taking into account that my PC is low resources, plus I love the minimalist style of the operating system. ❤

You can only use it in a Virtual Machine (VM)

There's is a problem with games going back to desktop (Explorer Window) that's still in the foreground and games fullscreen seems to go to background proces.
Everytime this happens i need to alt-tab back to the game.
I have done several things, one thing is for sure pc has no malware.
I think that need to be fixed

@@SillyGoose778 it's only for when a laptop is in table mode it puts the taskbar in mid and when it's in computer/laptop mode it goes to side.
