Yo, what's up everybody! Today, we are watching world of dota which is of course made by pandalife, and played by baumi.
How is it going

Today we play dota 2's mod called world of dota make by pandalive
The final duel displays a thing I find very charming in world of dota:
The low damage level leads to fights that take some time, so you never get one shot...
Personally, I see a huge meta based around Strength heroes. And when its not, That is because the other hero is hard to interact.
I personally like 5c gates more, but thats not what has been asked so;
Abundance is an amazing cards period for any deck that cares about getting those lands when they want to.
If you also bring a cultivator colossus you can just get all the lands in your deck into play aswell as get a decent overview about where your other cards are,
not gonna go into other infinites tho, since idk what power level you are playing at.
Scapeshift and Reshape the Earth both have quite the potential to get you everything you need aswell, especially if you got an untapper on board (either targeted or something like Archelos, Lagoon Mystic. Targeted general Land/gate ramp and Gond gate making them Lands etb untapped (not on the effect it itself is brought in tho).
Rest depends on your table, would recommend getting quite alot of Land ramp/tutor abilities aswell as some stax pieces and Graveyard Land recursion (conduit of worlds e.g.)going if you intend for mazes end being your main/only win con. More important if others play (even a bit) of Land destruction. Mirran Safehouse is kinda nice to make sure you have a backup plan should your mazes end land in the gy. Giving you com some evasion with something like vorrac battlehorns or copying abilities with something like strionic are recommended should you want to put more focus on you com aswell, instead of just speedrushing the gates.
I had long long day at work and desperately needed something to smooth my tired soul but there was nothing that really connect and suddenly BOOOM !

Regarding Alex, it was never going to be my cup of tea, but I recommended it to a few friends who loved it
To be honest, i enjoy world of dota, there's something about this mode that makes it pretty watchable
i like rogues gallery for 5 colour magic decks that rely heavily on creatures, do not have much experience of commander or gates but i imagine tutors, ramp and card filltering would be focus for such an win condition thinking green/blue as main colours, and when going for all colours you typically want to favor cards that stand on their own typically multicolured cards are a bit powerful aswell compared to their monocolured counterpars.
I'm surpriced you didn't get Bloodthorn at the last stage instead of pipe. It would had increased mana by about 150~ ish and give a ton of extra damage from your fast attacking summons and then the pop from the acumulated damage go off.
Especially since the new one gives like +60 magical dmg to every unit that attacks the silenced hero. Would have been very good with the gosts
There is no new bloodthorn in World Of Dota. Its still old but also buggy, active gives crit on every attack but it doesnt work at all

Ghost did magic dmg with attacks thats why they didnt heal with normal Vampiric Spirit but you also have a talent for spell lifesteal which is the only way to heal them with attacks
im eventually hoping to do 5 color shines and gates together because it makes sense thematically lol
Heyo @Baumi , when u play this game mode try the mage slayer upgrades, in your last duel vs wd mage destroyer(red mage slayer upgrade) would helped alot more, ty for video anayway apriciate the effort into it

You could have taken the INT stats talent since you got the %maxmana talent, so that you can have the 5800 max mana and don't need to worry about your ghosts anymore.

As for building a gates deck, you can include the few cards that let your lands come in untapped such as the new "Spelunking" card from Lost Caverns, and then maybe abuse some of the Domain mechanics since you're gonna have so many different colors? The new Leyline that's coming out in Murders should be really good too.
I second the untap effects. Amulet of vigor is pretty nice for that.
Wouldnt take any cards for the untapped etb that dont provide other value, there are enough ramp spells allowing to search up a gate and Gond Gate takes care of that one well enough imo. the only immediate extra value you get from them is that mazes end starts untapped, and i personally would rather run targeted untappers for that since they also allow you to get multiple uses out of Baldurs gate e.g.
I played a lot of World of Dota and Parasma on INT heroes is absolutely broken. You decrease their magic resistance and that amps your little guys. Also get bloothorne/Mage Destroyer on every hero
Just so you know baumi your ghosts were doing magic damage when they were attacking. They basically had revenants brooch effect.
Yeah, 5500 mana gives them invinsibility
about the mtg stuff, gates arent great due to how slow they are, usually instead you want just dual lands or shock lands instead but sometimes those can be expensive. there's also cards known as "mana fixers" which are pretty useful
they are way stronger ever after they got a bunch of support in baldurs gate, especially Gond Gate making all your Gates etb untapped, Basilisks Gate buffing up a creature by gate amount or Baldurs Gate being a cabal coffers for gates. Since you have a bunch of ramp in green allowing to search for any gate its really easy to get them out early aswell. Main bit about gates is that you need to commit to them if you want them to be decent
@@pendotxl822 aah fair enough, whenever I hear gates I still think of stuff like golgari guildgate, I should have a look at the newer gates

morphpling morphed into wk and then used W but since morphling doesnt have the WK int talent the W doesnt summon ghosts but is just the normal W and therefore summons skeletons
