Bats are so cool
The trouble with the BBC Earth vids is that they are too insightful and too valuable. My browser's bookmark folders are coming apart at the seems due to bookmarking most, if not all of these vids. 🥰
I would go completely crazy if a mosquito entered my room, I can't imagine what that poor sea lion was going through that night :(

Yeah basically everyone but north america and europe eats bats which is the majority of the world...
Bats are the only mammals in the world that can truly fly.

Absolute majority of bats are helpless on the ground, except vampire bats. Their (reinvented) cuadrupedal locomotion is incredibly fascinating. Maybe next time?

There's a theory that vampire bats actually evolved to suck the blood of Pleistocene megafauna like giant sloths, which probably would not have noticed them sucking.
