    1. Koalas are so dumb, if you remove leaves from the tree they normally eat from to feed them, they won’t recognise it as food because it’s not attached to the tree
    2. their mating call sounds like a boat engine starting up

Mostly when they get kicked out of their mother's territory they go wandering off to find their own and will basically eat whatever's edible along the way.

Extinction seems inevitable for Koalas though, they live on highly flammable trees (Bark falls to create perfect tinder and they release literal fireballs when they get too hot.) in one of the hottest places on earth and are way too dumb to ever be able to avoid a forest fire effectively if they even notice that the trees are on fire in the first place... It's actually a pretty smart plan evolutionarily speaking, no competition for food or housing sources, no natural predators because their diet makes them unpalatable. They just didn't count on Man. 🤪 although to be fair, most life on this planet has been largely unprepared for our species 😆 sigh... poor bastards.

I never knew Australia had forests like that. If you showed me the treeline i would have thought it was the Amazon or somewhere in the jungles of Africa. Whenever I remember seeing a koala on tv or on it's like this small tree where they can easily grab the koala from. I'd assume they were in zoos or something. But remember how most of middle of Australia is outback and seemed very flat. I would think Australia was like that lol.
Anyway I love this video where you not only show how Koalas live and thrive but also how great the forest looks. I'll definitely do more research on that. That's so cool.

The outback is NOT just flat desert. You are ignoring the ‘jagged mountain ranges’. Uluru Kata Tjuta. The Olgas. Bungle Bungle Ranges.Kakadu our largest National Park. Kings Canyon. Karlu Karlu-devils marbles. Flinders Ranges……I recommend a viewing of the Australian classic movie(Cranky Kurt Douglas played Harrison) “The man from Snowy River” (1982) has fantastic cinematography of certain landscape. Peace✌️🤠

And Brazilians seem to like him just fine. After all, the forest is cleared for agriculture so they can feed their families and ensure their children's education. It's like the Indonesians and the orangutan. They should be poor but keep the forest while the Brits and the Muricans are so rich they don't know what to buy next.
