Disable Certain Keys on Keyboard in Windows 10/11

Want to disable certain keys on your keyboard that you never use? Or maybe the key is stuck in the keyboard and is no longer functional. My delete key was literally clicking by itself. Every file, email or the words I typed deleted automatically. Till the time I found out what was the actual problem, some stuff was permeantly deleted.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! My F1 or F8 key was broken and kept on opening up either google support or discord support. I have a laptop connected to a keyboard and mouse. I knew the keyboard wasn't where the F1 key was broken since I had unplugged both my keyboard and mouse and the problem was still going. So I knew it was my laptop keyboard. I pressed F1 there but it didn't do anything, meaning it didn't go to google or discord support. But when I was pressing F8, sometimes it was doing nothing, while the other time it was opening google or/and discord support.

You should update this tutorial with a Script to toggle ON/OFF the modification.
Currently the Rog Strix G series has a short right-shift key causing major annoyance because users press the Up arrow key instead of right-shift. Asus thought it would be wise to put these 2 keys together.
So the best thing for me would be:
- Remap Up arrow to right shift. So I will have 2 right shift keys.
- Optionally remap Down arrow to Up arrow.
But then I would need an easy toggle off script located as an icon on my desktop.

What if i disable a key from interna keyboard and using an external wireless keyboard then that key will be disable from there too or not?
I just want to disable f key from my internal keyboard and keep my external wireless keyboard as usual (all keys are working)

No this probably wont help, I think your issue is related to your device. Infact its not an issue there's some code built into your motherboard which makes keys such as F1, F2, F3 etc. do other functions such as volume up, volume down, brightness up, brightness down etc. Now there is probably some key which says Fn on your keyboard, Pressing that and the function keys (F1 in this case) will do what its supposed to that is hide your gui in Minecraft. Hope this helped :)
