  • *Edit: I was mistaken about it being the only Full Size Truck made in America. Tundra hits that mark too.. Also mine was built in Mississippi NOT Louisiana.. Cheers!
    Thanks to popular demand, today I talk about my 2007 Nissan Titan 4x4 and how it has treated me over the last 60k miles. The Titan just may need the best value out there in a full size truck! Tell me about your experience with the Titan in the comments below!

      @anthonyw895 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @bryangnu is it cold in your location? Is the battery connection tight?jump it off. Cold weather, alarm system drain, could be many reasons why that battery is not producing enough volts.is there enough water in battery? That computer will let it crank but if it's not reading the correct volts it will not let the truck start.

    I've worked for a Nissan dealership for almost a decade now. As to the transmission related issues on the first gen Titans... The only Titan transmissions we had to replace were a few repeat customers with 6" lifts with massive chunky tires that beat the shit out of them. One of those same customers year later bought a brand new wrangler and hydro locked the engine the second day he owned it.

    Running an 06 crew cab SE. 230,000 miles I've only put batteries, tires, starter, and that same oil hi housing gasket he mentioned. It's been very dependable. Ive been good to it but never babied it. I worked in Oil fields of Texas and she ran up and down the back roads. I've towed a heavy auto hauler across the midwest and I tow a boat trailer regularly in summer. It's been an awesome truck..I would buy another one too.

    I bought a brand new 2014 Titan Pro-4X in February 2015 (2015 model year trucks were already on the road). I got a pretty good deal on it and I still have it today. It has 113k miles on it. I just put new Bilstein shocks/struts on it last week. No major issues at all. I love this truck!

    2015 pro 4x here. Bought it used with only 32k miles in 2019. Ive had a few issues but 90% of issues were caused by my driving habbits.. (wet shots of nitrous) i currently have 110k miles on stock everything other than cheap catback from amazon, this truck is unreal. I tourture this truck daily and no issues. My front diff is starting to make some noise but that was expected doing 4x4 hi launches with 100 shot. Simple engine and simple trans. Great value for work horse.

    Late to the party- I have 2017 Titan, Texas edition here and let me tell you something , the trucks big! This is my second titan and I’ll say that it’s good to have the towing capacity of over 9000 pounds. I’ve got the built-in trailer brake I’ve got the tow mode on the column shift and the truck has tons of room. You’ve got a good looking truck there you oughta get one of those empire stickers from Star Wars and put it on there. Kind of funny statement. Make no mistake about it though I’m I got my truck for work for transporting stuff to get paid . I don’t wanna work for anyone else I wanna to be my own boss therefore, I needed a truck to do it . The trucks big to me because the F150s was I used to drive back in the 80s if I were to compare it to this truck look like a real small truck. This is equivalent to about F250 from then. Having the lift kits a good idea I may do that myself. I have to tell yours they’re good to have but they are a pain in the ass because everyone wants to hit them so you have to fold them in. And the truck is so big that I have to park on the street near our house cause I can’t park in the driveway not enough room. So I have to run some lights that I stick on the back of the truck every night so people know where the truck is and don’t hit it. Of course, with the bumper that I have, which is a third-party very militant looking bumper if they hit it with their bitty cars, they’d die… I like the truck for work, but if I didn’t need it for work, I’d drive i’ve been car like an EV or something. I like to drive my Goldwing motorcycle a lot and you laugh but the gas mileage on that is bad too it’s laughable, but that’s the truth .

    I bought my first Nissan Titan, a 2023 Pro4X last June. I'm really pleased. The sticker was less than its competition and the dealer gave me a $7k discount and Nissan financed it a 0%. The seat fits my 80 yr old back perfectly. My wife loves to travel in it. One reason I bought a Titan is that I bought my wife a new 2013 Inifiniti EX37 which has been trouble free in 10 yrs and 58k miles. It's 325hp V6 RWD and has that same comfortable back support seat. After driving it my wife said she never wanted a FWD car again.

    I bought my 2005 Titan crew cab new. Have about 178k miles right now - not bad for 16 years. Still running strong. Have had to change out the starter and some seals. I did put a 6 inch lift in 06 so the ride isn't the smoothest but that's my fault. Planning on repainting it soon since the paint was bad for those years. Still a head turner when it's clean. Still better looking truck than the newer body style in my opinion.

    2010 Pro-4X, 215k miles. No major issues. Have replaced the starter, front wheel bearings, and had to get brake fluid flushed. Like he said on his, windows are slow to go up but honestly I feel they’ve always been that way. Not a lot of power on the window motor I suppose. I have cloth interior. Overall it’s in very good shape. Just one pretty big wear spot on the drivers seat. I don’t have running boards and assume it’s just from me sliding out of the truck rubbing on the cloth. When I have it all detailed up and clean people think it’s a brand new truck it still looks that good. Overall it’s been a great truck. Would definitely buy again. Plan on running it until it dies.

    And your Titan will probably continue being more reliable hands down than any of the big 3. GM's are dropping lifters and valves all over the place. Ford's have transmission issues, and eco-sludge issues. And RAM's always need a new front end or something in the drivetrain, and they are blowing lifters and cam's faster than they can make them..lolz.

    I have a 06 SE king cab 4x4 flex fuel with 161k miles and only had a few issues. Blend valve replaced, replaced IPDM, bad O2 sensors caused improper fuel ratio and shutting down frequently and now possibly needing cats replaced ( Jet power flow mass air sensor and Volant cold air intake seemed to have fixed the shutting down problem), clock spring just went bad and horn went crazy, And finally the linkage for the shifter broke.
    I did tow a enclosed trailer with equipment and a 200 gallon water tank for a pressure washing business for a year so it has done some work.
    Other than those problems I absolutely love this truck and don't see me getting rid of it anytime soon. What I really hate though is the poor paint quality on the hood and roof causing rust. I will probably spray the whole truck with Line-x ultra next year after I upgrade the squeaky suspension

    I have 2004 4x4 off road edition , and I like it , anyways I have a popping sound like metal to metal , when I press on the gas after stop , or when I turn left or right , and sometimes when I stop , did you ever had that ? Took it to 3 different mechanics and pretty much all wrong diagnostic, driveshaft noise , but it’s not actually , cv axles replaced , nothing , upper control arms ball joints replaced, nothing , some say transmission mount or engine mounts.... anyways it’s hard to throw the money to misdiagnosis... let me know if you have experienced any of these, thank you
    Also bought rough county 3” level/ lift kit , but it did not level , it lifted a bit still rear is 2” higher, rough county can’t solve the issue and they don’t know why the rear sits higher than front when it’s supposed to level not only lift
