Pastor Guzik, you said that the people heard about it in Jerusalem before Cornelius and his family could ever get circumcised or remove the non kosher things. Are you saying that after they believed and were filled the Holy Ghost, they then converted to the Jewish customs?
I believe he was referring to the previous belief that a Gentile could only be saved once they are converted to Judaism. The point was these Gentiles received the Spirit before they ever underwent any Jewish custom or transition, contrary to what was believed back then. This was God showing that one didn't need to be Jewish to be saved; they only needed faith in Jesus and repentance
I am happy to hear the gospel preached by Pastor David Guzik
Love this teaching. Can't wait to go to Chapter 10 now
"People are not ashamed to sin, but they are ashamed to repent..." Jesus gives repentance to life. 🙏🙌
Thank you for the commentary and the videos. We are using this series to study the book of Acts. you really do make this come alive

Excellent ! Thank you !
Brother David, In 17:21 you referenced as Mark 1:8 (it was spoken by John). But Jesus used it in Acts 1:5 (It was spoken by Jesus ).
You are correct!
