@@pigallisme really? :0 at conbinis the cashier just hands them to me like a small spoon for my pudding or something. and if i didnt get utensils i just ask because as an american thats usually what i do if there isnt something simple like a fork or straw to grab 😅 im glad you had fun in europe though! im gonna be going to europe soon but its gonna be on a cruise so its not really deep traveling
Oh, that’s why a lot of people always ask me about utensils! Ours are self serve, but hard to find. Otherwise, the only other grocery store I buy ready made fresh food is hmart and they usually just include chopsticks automatically.
I suggest you buy a day or a week ticket for your stay in Paris, it'll probably be cheaper than buying like 2/3 a day (I'm assuming, I haven't been back to Paris in a while)
The chopstick Every Day Carry (EDC) is a very good idea. I'm always checking myself when I walk out the door, "wallet, phone, eyeglasses, check check check..." I don't think I've ever considered chopsticks. 😂
Just take a youth hostel for one night. Almost three times less expensive for one night. No one needs a full apartment for one night. The ones called "The people" are nice and not shady, and there's female only rooms.
There is but I guess she was unaware. You can buy one at the machines that can display all the texts in English, so it's very convenient for the tourists. Also one ticket can take you anywhere within Paris up to one hour.
If you or anyone wants to know the most expensive place, go to Switzerland. In Zürich, a mocha is $13. But I love and will always return to CH, it’s well worth it 🇨🇭
I thought it was going to be the Turkish restaurant we went to on Thursday night 😊 omg can't believe you slided into my yt shorts feed (or that you had a yt channel at all) 😂 glad you had a nice trip that brought back some memories and a safe trip back to Tokyo 😊
I believe that is either the relais de Venise or the relais de l’entrecôte (they were once the same restaurant but then split because of the two siblings who inherited it fighting I believe). Been there before, love the place.
@@jess_lol4579on average idk.. but also it's not that expensive if you actually live here.. I live in Paris and I'm shocked at that airbnb price.. if you go anywhere on the cote d'azur.. decent apartments range from 60 euros a night to around 100 for good ones.. and trust me it's way better to spend your vacations at Cannes or Toulon than in Paris.. and ofc renting monthly ends up being even cheaper
Doesn't have to be but most tourist fall into certain traps, dining at restaurants being one of such thing (many cities have streets that are dedicated purely for tourist exploitation and no local eats there). Not that it's much different in Japan but recent falling of yen made the country a real gem for budget travelling after Covid.
@@DrAhzekyeah paris definetly does, berlin less so but there's still places that are overpriced. In europe Prague, Rome, Nice, Barcelona and Paris come to mind the most when thinking about restaurant scams

They give you a fork at the cashier if you ask😅
oh 🙈 utensils are free to take at convenience stores and supermarkets in japan

I buy a metro pass in any city whenever it’s worth it :) I did the math and planned for 19 trips. Needed 25 trips to justify a 5 day pass
@@pigallismethat’s fair! i think it varies by country :))
From Orly airport you have now a new metro line (ligne 14) directly to the center of Paris ( open last weekend)
