The reason why I love the Time Twins and why their my favorite villains of the franchise. It’s because despite being villains, they show us how much brotherly love Krux and Acronix have for each other.❤
Their bond was so fascinating! They had completely different outlooks and strategies, but still did everything for each other because of how much they cared about each other
Hands Of Time Spent the entire season with the time twins slowly collecting all the timeblades, and they only got all 4 in the second to last episode which they then placed on the iron doom and never used. I would love for them to return one day and this time they will be much stronger because they no longer need to go and collect the time blades, they already have all 4, they wont even need their army. Even in the flashbacks the time twins didnt really use their powers that much. Most of their fights involve hand to hand or weapon combat with the occasional use of a time ability, I would love to be able to experience their full power in a season.
If they actually return, which I hope they do, I hope for the Time Twins to unlock their true potential. I was giving myself the headcanon that Kai would willing strip away Nya's powers to ensure events akin to Seabound would not repeat, and he would unlock a new element of Steam while being the forsaken ruler of the Boiling Sea.

I’ve seen a theory around ninjago United. There’s a poster in the trailer that says “time, control, everything” and from that I think that it means that United will be about the hands of time
"I rewatched the entire thing in one day because I am very sane thank you." That's also me when I have too much time on my hands. (Ba dum tsh!) It's kinda funny you post a video on the Time Twins, because with the trailers for United, others are theorizing that they could be involved in whatever is going to happen. On the topic of the Time Twins, they are certainly some of the more entertaining villains out of this show since they're the only villains that are siblings (that I know of), and most of us that have siblings knows what it's like to annoy each other (like Crux getting annoyed at Acronix for playing games on the Borg-pad or sending a Chirp, and Crux teasing Acronix for having a crush. "Does someone have a crush?" "No! ... Okay maybe a little."). The parallel with them and Kai and Nya is something I haven't realized until you pointed it out (Kai not liking technology as much as Nya could be chalked up to growing up without it due to being unable to afford it). Regarding Kai and Nya, can I mention how much I like how this season focused on their dynamic? So many good sibling moments, and don't get me started on that adorable flashback of Kai meeting Nya for the first time, so cute. With that ending, are you very subtly hinting at a future video titled "Why Kai/Cole works" (or something akin to that)? With the few Kai and Cole moments I've seen in a few of your videos (Kai swan diving to save Cole, That One Moment in Crystalized, the small bit at the end of this video, just to name a few), I'm a little surprised you haven't made it yet.
Yess the sibling dynamics were great! The writing this season was far from perfect but those scenes were usually really well done (“your kids miss you, you know” - one of my favorite Kai lines in the entire show) As for Kai and Cole……. I’m biding my time (aka stalling for fear of being stabbed 👍)
I LOVE THE TIME TWINS. I've been obsessed with them lately. This theory/ analysis is just the best thing ever. I never really thought about some of those things that way. I honestly think Acronix is also just doing whatever because Krux is doing it. He assumes that his brother, whose now older, is wiser in a sense. So he doesn't think to really question if what he's doing is right. Also, I don’t care if your looking too far into things, because even if you are, your videos are just amazing. They're absolutely awesome in every way. So by all means, keep looking too far into things. I do it all the time too. 😄

You really deserve more subs. Anyway, I‘ve always liked the time twins because of how entertaining they are, but I didn’t love them because their motive of just taking over the world was really boring. Now, I‘ve kind of reconsidered that. Hands of Time generally gets way too much hate in my opinion. Not a top tier season, but it’s certainly not completely unwatchable either.
To be honest the season in general is pretty solid. I'm not really sure why people have an issue with it. The only cons I can think of surrounding the season are: 1. SOME (Okay? SOME) of the dialogues are so stupid. The jokes are weird and cringe. Also the ninjas are smart, yet in times they seem to need centuries to figure something out, even if it's more than obvious 2. The fate of the vermillion generals was a bit unsatisfying. I loved the interactions between the time twins and their army. Until episode 10, the villains-army interaction was one of the best ones we've seen even until 2023, because of how well they worked and contributed to achieve a goal (Even if Raggmunk and Blunk messed it up sometimes, they added a comedic touch). But in the end they got "destroyed" which was quite dull to be honest. After they did so much for them 😅
I really wish they could've done this season better. It's not bad but they literally had a very good concept and sorta messed it up. I also thought the vermillion army was pretty boring at times. 5/10 season
Well I actually love Harumi - *as a villain* , but def not as a person. But people always confuse the two sooo it’s safer to just say nothing lol And thank you !
@@thateye49 My personal opinion, that because Harumi’s a combination of villain and antihero. Villains are those who really do a lot of terrible things, but you you understand what they are because… they are villains. A villain’s someone who harms other participants in the story, and there are also anti-heroes. The antihero’s a person who is not a hero in the classical sense, but is not an outright villain either. The difference between the two is that the average villain doesn’t evoke sympathy, while the viewer sympathizes with the anti-hero. Harumi's problem is that she's a real villain, but the writers want to show that she's good. She kills people and torments Lloyd, but she's "actually good”. She's good at words, but personally, I can't call Harumi that when you see her doing SO horrible things and deeds. I just can't sympathize with her. Perhaps it would work (it still wouldn't work for me) if she was consistent. But she constantly contradicts herself. She killed Lloyd's friends in front of him, but at the same time a couple of episodes later she says that she loves him and is worried about him. She says that she doesn’t want any of the people to suffer (loss of parents, etc.), but at the same time she herself became the reason that many people suffered because of her. The most interesting thing is that she does it on her own initiative and does it consciously. I personally can't love her even as a villain (although I love female villains a lot). You're just mad at her and her "kindness". You just think that since you know someone else's pain and you yourself say that you care about others, THEN WHY ARE YOU DO THE ABSOLUTELY OPPOSITE? She also doesn't learn from her mistakes. Even her redemption was awful. All her redemption’s like "Now we have same enemy, so we're allies" not because she realized everything she did was bad. Add to that the fact that she didn't even play any part in defeating the Overlord. She just hit him a couple of times and chopped off his hand (which grew back). This’s all just my opinion. I'm just explaining my point of view why I don't like Harumi.

But helping Ninjago wasn’t Morro’s goal he didn't say he cares about Ninjago (unlike Harumi who became a villain "to help the people of Ninjago", although Ninjago suffered the most because of her). Morro’s a different type of villain, and maybe because he's just more consistent. And he doesn't contradict himself. Probably the fact is that he was overtaken by karma and he realized his mistakes and proved it to DOTD, so people respect him. (Unlike Harumi). And he allowed himself to die consciously. Probably also because he wasn’t as cruel as Harumi (weird but yes). He wanted to take over Ninjago but he didn't kill anyone either. He fought people if he was attacked first. And if Morro did something, he did it for his own personal purpose, and most of the things Harumi did was because she was a sadist and she just wanted Lloyd and another to suffer. This makes me personally disgusted with her. And I'm glad that you could read my essay.
