I believe that if you are a club pro and bring a group of players to the resort, the pro gets comped for golf and (I think) lodging. You might check with the resort to get the details on that.
Yeah most golf resorts will fully comp your round if you bring people. I’ve talked to other pros and they were given a discounted rate so that’s why I wasn’t sure why I wasn’t given it during the off season months!
Spending the first 2 minutes complaining about the price is not the best look for your channel. The transparency is appreciated, but Bandon is a historic destination Disney-World-of-Golf kind of place for dudes. Any really good public course in my area is around 100$ to play. The courses at Trump Doral are $120-500 per round. Anyone would give $180 to go play a round at Bandon, no sweat.

I just played there. Six rounds of golf. The weather was good. The golf courses sucked. They are in horrible condition. They don’t take care of them. The sand traps are inconsistent and they don’t rake them very well. We had to move rooms twice. Don’t recommend staying at the resort. They changed our tee times to accommodate a large group that wanted to golf together. By putting us in a later tee time… guess what, we didn’t finish our round. Then they offered us a refund because we only played 16 holes. 16 holes in 4 hours 50 minutes. Wow. Hard to get there, course not very good, local people not friendly. Do not recommend.
