Contra in the wild is an accoustic rearrangement/recomposing ( new song basically) of Codename Contra… a song he composed for the show The Next where he was a mentor. He was given a few notes from the old Contra videogame and went from there. Contra in the wild is one of my favourites, its so brilliant.

This is such a cool rearrangement of his originally rearranged song. The Singer 2020 series was released during lockdown, except the first two episodes, so the singers were confined in their cities and sang from small studios, even Charlie Shen from his room in Shanghai. The episodes were streamed with online audience, no big orchestra for a few episodes but still the show was awesome every time! Maybe you could react next to Bullfighting from the 2nd episode.. This song always takes me to Sergio Leone land. Its origins are insane. It's a rearrangement of a song he made up in 24 hours based on a few notes from background music from a video game. Just a small challenge. HuaHua's musical skills are insane. I'm baffled by a couple of things you do. 1. Why do you feel the need to compare this to another song (Hurt)? What is the value in that? Just asking. 2. You apologize repeatedly for pausing so much. So why do you do it if you consider it bad? Your decision, your channel, so I don't get it. I don't care for it, but it is up to you. As long as you react to Hua Chenyu, the Martians, including me, will be here. So do what you do. We appreciate you doing it. He's singing in Mandarin. He does occasional songs in English; he even wrote one once. (He kept forgetting the lyrics, which was hilarious, but he still performs it.)
