Steve, I have just installed Superior XI walls. They call for a 2 x10 sill plate. Wondering if you could provide the detail for what type of sill sealer material you use. I am onboard with Tremco Acoustical but unclear what type of foam or rubber seal should be installed.
Are these cheaper to buy and install compared to just an ICF block system? What are the major perks to these over those, besides maybe the wire runs? I don't see the benefits unless they were installing five or six times faster than an ICF block wall does. Looks like they install similar to SIPS.
I'm not sure why not, looks like they rest on the footing like any concrete forms do? Only perk is probably less concrete used if using their system for footings.
I suspect that the connection between the wall (which has a footing as part of the wall already) and the poured footing would be suspect. The poured footing would need to be absolutely flat, which is basically impossible.
Superior walls are the way to go on all fronts. Environmentally, cost effectively, reliability, efficiency,
Great video+explanation+presentation! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Well done mate - NEW SUB 🙏🏻

Is there any reason you could not place these on a poured footing?
