    Hornet wins hands down most practical for commuting and all around bigbike must have in a garage!

    Z900 all the way. Smooth. pulls hard. Looks cool. Had an MT09, prefer the Z.

      Have you tried the Gen3 MT09? I do love the Z900

    Me live in mountain road, so hornet 750 definitely for me. Light, agile & nimble. Good torque also

    Great video! I have a 2016 MT09 and was thinking of switching to the Hornet because I want to be able to rag the bike on b roads, but feel like i have to hold back on the MT09, otherwise i may lose my licence. As you have both bikes, do you think going from an MT09 to a Hornet would be a backwards move & with the aftermarket exhaust on the Hornet do you think it has character?

    Hey Stephen, what is that rear fender you have on Hornet. I need one for mine. Thanks

      It’s a pyramid hugger from eBay. It only has a limited success. It does protect the shock obserber from the worst of the muck but little else.

      At the moment, the Honda as it’s my commuter and just an easy bike to ride.

    Which is your favourite?

      MT09 it’s mental when you’re in the mood. However, they all have different attributes that I like. The Z900 is smooth and deceptively quick and the Hornet is just so easy to ride and manoeuvre, especially around traffic

    How do you like the hornet over the mt09 sp?

    • @Steve-motorcycles
      @Steve-motorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The Hornet shouldn’t really be able to compete with the MT09SP as it’s £3,000 cheaper and has a smaller engine. However, it’s a fun bike in its own right. The one area that it does beat the Yamaha is commuting. It’s alot better in manoeuvring around traffic. It has a lot better turning circle.
