Hahahaha so Ive had this laser for a while so I was pretty happy to see a video from you on it. Couple things, I have a CNC too so theres some mental readjusting here. CNC I love my plywood hahaha, Lasers the thin stuff is one thing, thicker like that half in and up is another thing. It has to do with uneven glue layers(CNC dont care bout that!) but what you want to do is instead of going that slow, which can cause fires charred edges and just general grossness that my CNC brain says is not cool dude, go for higher speeds and more passes. Also theres a lowering the focus option which will help when you go thicker. Going with that line of thinking I still would say its easier to cut 1in thick curly maple than .5in thick plys. Your F Bombs, on the left hand side theres a grid array tool, makes it super easy to make the whole grid you did, but your not fighting the snap tool. Which the snap tool is both great and horrible at the same time. Ive gotten pretty weird with wood with mine, so I'll be Interested to see what you do.
