FO THE VALAR! Hobbiton and potentially some classic revival sets would really make up for 10 years of nothing. And after Barad Dur and Rivendell - lego would be genuinely foolish (like a took) to not continue the theme. Worst case, it comes in 2026 due to design delays. But as it stands, from what im hearing - LOTR returns in late 2025. What would you most want to see from a revival wave? Lego should've made a Minas Tirith before Hobbiton and here's why. Had they made Minas Tirith it would've opened the doors for an Orc Tower set, Mumakil, Witch King w Fell Beast set, Orc battle pack and Riders of Rohan battle pack. All of these would have correlated well with the Minas Tirith set.
But given the choice between Tirith and Ihobbeton, I will choose Hobbeton. Just as given the choice between Rivendell and the Tower, I will choose the former.
It’s possible Mina’s Tirith and Hobbiton will both release in the same year, but Minas Tirith will be a large set, and Hobbiton probably won’t be as big as we expect
glad to see us go to hobbiton. i hope it goes full minifig scale like Rivendale as i do not like that star wars esque odd microscale thing they did with the dark tower
That or a good collection of additional characters from the book like old man Gamgee would be nice. Possibly a little courtyard type build where they could have a mini bilbo birthday party scene.
Lego are fools if they dont make Mini scale sets of all the mayor cities, like Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul, Osgiliath, Edoras, orthanc, Dale and so on. That would really cater to the adult fans.
we have rohan, orcs, elves, dwarves, but no men of gondor! Besides Boromir and King Aragorn. Thats why it's my first pick for a battlepack. Also gets around the Minas Tirith challenge which lego seems to be stumped by
I don't even have Barad-Dur yet, and already I'm needing to change saving plans for these proposed sets. Smaller sets are defiantly preferred, here's hoping for a bright future.
It would be cool if this would be revivied and continued, Hoping for smaller soldier sets from different factions and a Prancing Pony set. "Speak friend and enter" is my favourite diorama set,
I think a display set of Osigilath would be cool, but only after Mina’s tirith or helms deep. It could feature Gondor soldiers including faramir, some horses, orcs, and a felbeast.
I'm happy LOTR has come back looking forward to Hobbiton, still hope to see Minas Tirith in the near future and small sets would be cool like gandalf vs balrog or the dioramas you have made . love the old Castle sets
A Shire Icons set will be amazing. This should include Bag End, Party Tree, Bywater Bridge, and Green Dragon Tavern. If/when we get Minas Tirith, we need it to come with Battle packs and smaller complimentary sets. I'm thinking Grond, Osgiliath, Mumakill, Gondor, Orc, Ghost Army and Rohan Battle packs. The larger sets such as Edoras, Cirith Ungol, and Minas Morgul are a must. I like the Doors of Durin and Amon Hen ideas. Even sets based on Battle of Dagorlad would be sweet.
I'm excited about the new icons Hobbiton set. I think baradur and Rivendele are fantastic. But I think it is really a good thing that they are planning to produce more affordable sets. Especially if they are not bricksheads, I'm not particularly fan of bricksheadz. And for the moment they are the cheapest Lego sets that we can get in this theme.
I really do think a number of smaller sets, whether they are revivals, completely new sets, battlepacks or even a CMF series would be great for the theme. Big sets are great, of course, and I did get all of them myself, but to complete a theme ( not to mention make it more accessible ) there really should be several medium sized and a larger number of smaller sets. LOTR is full of amazing scenes and characters and there's plenty of source material to choose from.
A Rivendell sized Hobbiton would be awesome and also love to see diorama sets similar to the Star Wars ones. I would improve any play set into a diorama anyway but would be great to get official sets.
Weathertop Ringwraith encounter, standing of the wall of Minas Tirith, the spider lair could all work well as a diorama..? Loads of small scenes work well tbh. I would happily buy as many as they make
WOW!!! Hobbiton would be AWESOME, lol. if they do that set, that is a day 1 buy for me for sure. :) I would love to see more LOTR battle packs. I do plan on getting Rivendell and would like to get Bara Durr at some point (before retirement). There are other sets I want to get first so, I have to plan accordingly lol. Love the video.
Now that they've announced a 1000$ lego set for Star Wars, I'm quite confident we will have Minas Tirith one day for that price tag. Poor souls we are!
Subscribed! I think I like old Bilbo's white hobbit hair shown in the video better than the white hair he's given in the Rivendell set. Seems more...right. What do y'all think? Maybe if we get a Hobbiton set in 2025, we'll get plenty of hobbit variations with gray hair, white hair, etc...and maybe a Rosie Cotton!
I think Hobbiton over Minas Tirith is a good call. It will be cheaper, more charming and easier to do on the correct scale. Also, the Rivendell set designers revealed in interviews that concepts for the Shire have been in the works for a while. Best news in this video however is the small revival wave❤️🔥 I am very excited, and hope that Lego realises the mountains of money they would make if they release a CMF series for LOTR. You could bring amazing charachters to life that the first wave missed, and allow army building. I have been scouring Bricklink for minifigures I missed, but they are expensive and not easy to get for people outside of NA/EU
I’d love to see more LOTR sets that are affordable! I have most of the original sets, and would definitely purchase any new ones if done well. Thanks for the updates, and here’s to hopefully winning the dragon mountain set giveaway on my bday next week😄
Hobbiton would be amazing, except that I've been slowly gathering the extra parts I need to make a MOC of the original Bag End from An Unexpected Journey for a few months now. Still, the more Shire the better :) It would be great to have some smaller sets too and make Lego LOTR more accessible to more people.
I would totally love a wave of small sets … so you can finally get the figures for cheap. The 2012 Figures have become quite expensive building a army of orcs or just getting the fellowship together will cost you an arm and a leg
my friend is a huge fan of the hobbit and especially the shire. if this set really releases, were gonna build it together like we did with rivendell. can't wait
FINALLY!!! I've been hoping for a renewal of the lotr lego sets since star wars and marvel and Harry Potter have had so many! For the shire!! Will there be new hobbit sets too or just lotr

smaller sets for sure
Let's go Minas Tirith!!! FOR GONDOR!!!
I might get lotr sets if they are smaller, I would love some smaller sets that I can actually afford
Fool of a took, Lego!
For Gondor! And Lego!
Who else is more excited for the small sets than Hobbiton
I’m more excited for Hobbiton but they are all exciting!
I am
Hopefully they make more battle packs, especially uruk hai!
They going to go quick I think!
Me
A middle-earth CMF series would go crazy!
We kind of already have all the characters already though
Enter: the hobbit
I second that
@@356zI don't
@@poockoo with the 2 new sets you can
Hope lego would release a gandalf vs balrog set
working on a diorama myself in case they dont!
It could be similar to the disney set they just made with the dragon

I feel like if they do Minas tirith it should be a microscale set that can capture everything, similar to the Lego hogwarts set.
Minas tirith is just massive that’s the only issue at minifig scale
Not getting a Minas Tirith is definitely sad, but Hobbiton opens the door for a possible updated Thorin and Company
glad to see us go to hobbiton. i hope it goes full minifig scale like Rivendale as i do not like that star wars esque odd microscale thing they did with the dark tower
Ew no. The Hobbit sucks.

This new information about small sets is amazing, waiting for another news from you. :)
I'm building my Rivendell today. Been waiting for this day for a long time. But I already know I need more LOTR Lego.
Let me know how that goes. I’ve been eyeing it and how long it would take the average LEGO guy and not a TH-camr who does it full time.
GWP gandalf arrives would be fire
Lego are fools if they dont make Mini scale sets of all the mayor cities, like Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul, Osgiliath, Edoras, orthanc, Dale and so on. That would really cater to the adult fans.
darn i was really hoping to minas tirith, we need some gondor soldiers

If they do it I hope some of the tower guard with the dnd dragonborn armor piece
It's too big to do the scale correctly for under 1k usd
i would've preferred minas tirith but ill take hobbiton
you and me both!
I don't think they could've made a minas tirith set for $500 and do it justice.
I recently opened a fortune cookie that said “soon you will win a lego dragon mountain” kinda strange tbh 😊
For gondor!
FOR GONDOR!
For Gondor
.. and WAR!
I don't even have Barad-Dur yet, and already I'm needing to change saving plans for these proposed sets. Smaller sets are defiantly preferred, here's hoping for a bright future.
Can't wait to see actual images of these sets.
i just found your channel. great videos.
Great Channel. Thanks for the amazing Updates.
Awesome! I can't wait for the smaller sets to come out. I hope we get some decent battle packs.
Seeing more Lego LOTR sets coming up is just so exciting, massive fan of the books and films so will be waiting eagerly!
I think making massive Icons sets really help show the true scale and majestic image that LOTR deserves
It would be cool if this would be revivied and continued, Hoping for smaller soldier sets from different factions and a Prancing Pony set. "Speak friend and enter" is my favourite diorama set,
Love the content! Keep it up
The Ent-Counter is definitely my favourite! I hope they do this set for 2025!! :) :)
love your set designs 👏
I love this channel
thank you sierra!
Yup. Great content. 👍
Doors of Durin would be my favorite looks fantastic!!!
Let’s gooo! Smaller sets!
Great stuff. I hope Lego goes in this direction. I'd love the diorama sets!
Awesome news! thanks for the update :D
Nice Video! I´m really excited for Hobbiton and I just hope, that we will still get a Minas Tirith Set.
Sweet - your giveaways are the best!
Great video!
I think a display set of Osigilath would be cool, but only after Mina’s tirith or helms deep. It could feature Gondor soldiers including faramir, some horses, orcs, and a felbeast.
I’m really hoping LOTR gets the Lego Harry Potter treatment with a new line of sets similar to how they’ve been doing those sets
I hope not. All they do is re-release the same sets for Harry potter. They really need to keep it fresh sometimes.
I'm happy LOTR has come back looking forward to Hobbiton, still hope to see Minas Tirith in the near future and small sets would be cool like gandalf vs balrog or the dioramas you have made . love the old Castle sets
For Gondor! I hope all this news pans out! I love both of your diorama designs!

Really hoping they bring out some great little LOTR sets which are affordable
Great video, thy x a lot!

Will you please add the diorama-style sets to your rebrickable? They are beautiful.
I’m so excited! I was a kid when the LOTR/hobbit set were out and couldn’t get any so I’m ready to collect them all this time!
I'm so excited for a lord of the rings wave of sets .
so long overdue, me too!
Would love some battle packs: orcs, rohirim, trolls and such. Keep up the good work!
Wow! I hope they make some of these. Thanks for the updates.

Yay we finally have confirmation! So excited!

great vid :)
This is the perfect time to bring it back. Blending LoTR with DnD and Lego Castle will be awesome!
If we don't get a Balrog even when it is the most iconic scene in the ENTIRE FRANCHISE.. I'm gonna lego my eggo😡😡🔥🔥🔥🧱🧱🧱
I would love to see a ceremony scene from the end of the return of the king. I think it would be a great diorama set and as always, for Gondor!!!
Lets see what LEGO future will bring. I'm absolutly sure it will fits perfectly beside Rivendell and Barad Dur. And what an amazing giveaway! 🙏
Very excited for the new Lott sets upcoming!
The death of Boromir is an iconic seen.
Now that they've announced a 1000$ lego set for Star Wars, I'm quite confident we will have Minas Tirith one day for that price tag. Poor souls we are!
I cannot wait for the new set! It’s getting to the point where I need a bigger office to fit in all these amazing locations.
I would very much like to see some battle packs to Army build. Minas Tirith next year? We can dream! For Gondor!!!!
Great news let’s go!

Hobbiton is a pretty original idea for them to bring, I am exited that it should contain a lot of colour like rivendel!

nice video!
Here's a great one-Haradrim Mumakil, You can have the full elephant with the tower and some Haradrim on top
would love to see this!
What software do you use to create these 2 self made sets?
Great news 🤩
Looking forward to all of these sets!
So excited!
me too!
I can't wait until the sets come out!
Can't wait for more LOTR. Awesome vid!
The excitement is real for this hopeful new wave of sets

For Gondor! I really like the smaller sets a lot. Lotr is my favorite movie series and I’m so glad to see it in Lego again
So excited🎉
I want to catch up on Lego LotR as I don't own any of the sets yet. Especially before the wave takes off even more.

If Lego would make a battlepack it would probably a 3 vs 3 or a 4vs4 set with Gondor vs Mordor or Rohan vs Isengard
