FO THE VALAR! Hobbiton and potentially some classic revival sets would really make up for 10 years of nothing. And after Barad Dur and Rivendell - lego would be genuinely foolish (like a took) to not continue the theme. Worst case, it comes in 2026 due to design delays. But as it stands, from what im hearing - LOTR returns in late 2025. What would you most want to see from a revival wave? Lego should've made a Minas Tirith before Hobbiton and here's why. Had they made Minas Tirith it would've opened the doors for an Orc Tower set, Mumakil, Witch King w Fell Beast set, Orc battle pack and Riders of Rohan battle pack. All of these would have correlated well with the Minas Tirith set.
But given the choice between Tirith and Ihobbeton, I will choose Hobbeton. Just as given the choice between Rivendell and the Tower, I will choose the former.
we have rohan, orcs, elves, dwarves, but no men of gondor! Besides Boromir and King Aragorn. Thats why it's my first pick for a battlepack. Also gets around the Minas Tirith challenge which lego seems to be stumped by
glad to see us go to hobbiton. i hope it goes full minifig scale like Rivendale as i do not like that star wars esque odd microscale thing they did with the dark tower
That or a good collection of additional characters from the book like old man Gamgee would be nice. Possibly a little courtyard type build where they could have a mini bilbo birthday party scene.
I would totally love a wave of small sets … so you can finally get the figures for cheap. The 2012 Figures have become quite expensive building a army of orcs or just getting the fellowship together will cost you an arm and a leg
I don't even have Barad-Dur yet, and already I'm needing to change saving plans for these proposed sets. Smaller sets are defiantly preferred, here's hoping for a bright future.
Hobbiton would be amazing, except that I've been slowly gathering the extra parts I need to make a MOC of the original Bag End from An Unexpected Journey for a few months now. Still, the more Shire the better :) It would be great to have some smaller sets too and make Lego LOTR more accessible to more people.
I think Hobbiton over Minas Tirith is a good call. It will be cheaper, more charming and easier to do on the correct scale. Also, the Rivendell set designers revealed in interviews that concepts for the Shire have been in the works for a while. Best news in this video however is the small revival wave❤️🔥 I am very excited, and hope that Lego realises the mountains of money they would make if they release a CMF series for LOTR. You could bring amazing charachters to life that the first wave missed, and allow army building. I have been scouring Bricklink for minifigures I missed, but they are expensive and not easy to get for people outside of NA/EU
A Rivendell sized Hobbiton would be awesome and also love to see diorama sets similar to the Star Wars ones. I would improve any play set into a diorama anyway but would be great to get official sets.
my friend is a huge fan of the hobbit and especially the shire. if this set really releases, were gonna build it together like we did with rivendell. can't wait
Subscribed! I think I like old Bilbo's white hobbit hair shown in the video better than the white hair he's given in the Rivendell set. Seems more...right. What do y'all think? Maybe if we get a Hobbiton set in 2025, we'll get plenty of hobbit variations with gray hair, white hair, etc...and maybe a Rosie Cotton!
FOR GONDOR! Elendil!!! While I agree that doing Minas Tirith justice is tricky, they could treat it like Harry Potter where all the different sets can be combined. So instead, they could craft a whole wave, with the Icons set being the base. I mean look at SW with the Sail Barge and Skiff.
I’d love to see more LOTR sets that are affordable! I have most of the original sets, and would definitely purchase any new ones if done well. Thanks for the updates, and here’s to hopefully winning the dragon mountain set giveaway on my bday next week😄
If they do bring back these smaller revival sets, I will singlehandedly find a way to make it worth while. I do agree, I'd Prefer Minas Tirith to Hobbiton
Son of a 🤬! I JUST bought Rivendell last month as a birthday present/congratulations to myself for getting a better-paying job-but a Shire-themed set is the ONLY one I would have preferred out of everything in both trilogies! My poor wallet!! 😭
I am very keen on more lord of the rings sets. Although I do love the big ones, I’d also like to enhance that collection with some smaller ones and more figures.
I can't wait for smaller sets as a 14 year old a £400 pounds set takes up my whole christmas budget but with some smaller sets i can actually buy some myself.
At some point I’d like to see them produce a Minas Morgul set made in large part out of glow in the dark bricks. I have no idea though, maybe glow in the dark costs more to make than plain bricks?
For Gondor!!! I was hoping for Minas Tirith but that set is probably better as a series of smaller sets we can put togehter to make a big castle. If Lego gets around to bringing back waves for Lotr. Hobbiton? It better than nothing and I will take it!
I just got set 79003 an unexpected gathering. What a great set I can’t wait for Hobbiton! I’m glad it wasn’t Minas Tirith I would rather they take their sweet time getting that one perfect.
Feel like LEGO LOTR should bite off of the latest LEGO Marvel Wave, A battle pack, a battle scene set, 2 buildable big fig sets, feel like the last marvel wave was so good because of that variety and affordable prices and they could easily do that with a new LEGO LOTR wave 😎
They should 100% bring out Mordor Orc battle packs so we can add them to our barad dur set and also build up armies for other potential sets in the future
A Shire Icons set will be amazing. This should include Bag End, Party Tree, Bywater Bridge, and Green Dragon Tavern. If/when we get Minas Tirith, we need it to come with Battle packs and smaller complimentary sets. I'm thinking Grond, Osgiliath, Mumakill, Gondor, Orc, Ghost Army and Rohan Battle packs. The larger sets such as Edoras, Cirith Ungol, and Minas Morgul are a must. I like the Doors of Durin and Amon Hen ideas. Even sets based on Battle of Dagorlad would be sweet.
Oh well, while I would have preferred the White City, Hobbiton isn’t too bad an option. I’m a big fan of the dioramas as well, as I feel they capture scenes better. I like your Amon Hen the most. One does not simply pass up Boromir’s tragic end.
My kids have been asking me for smaller sets that they can play with since I won’t let them touch my old ones. If this proves true, I will definitely be buying multiples of everything drops.

smaller sets for sure
Let's go Minas Tirith!!! FOR GONDOR!!!
I might get lotr sets if they are smaller, I would love some smaller sets that I can actually afford

Who else is more excited for the small sets than Hobbiton
I’m more excited for Hobbiton but they are all exciting!
I am
Hopefully they make more battle packs, especially uruk hai!
They going to go quick I think!
darn i was really hoping to minas tirith, we need some gondor soldiers
we have rohan, orcs, elves, dwarves, but no men of gondor! Besides Boromir and King Aragorn. Thats why it's my first pick for a battlepack. Also gets around the Minas Tirith challenge which lego seems to be stumped by
Not getting a Minas Tirith is definitely sad, but Hobbiton opens the door for a possible updated Thorin and Company
glad to see us go to hobbiton. i hope it goes full minifig scale like Rivendale as i do not like that star wars esque odd microscale thing they did with the dark tower
Ew no. The Hobbit sucks.
@@TheFirstCurse1be silent, keep your forked tongue behind your teeth!
That or a good collection of additional characters from the book like old man Gamgee would be nice. Possibly a little courtyard type build where they could have a mini bilbo birthday party scene.
A middle-earth CMF series would go crazy!
Hope lego would release a gandalf vs balrog set
working on a diorama myself in case they dont!
i would've preferred minas tirith but ill take hobbiton
you and me both!
For gondor!
FOR GONDOR!
This new information about small sets is amazing, waiting for another news from you. :)
I'm building my Rivendell today. Been waiting for this day for a long time. But I already know I need more LOTR Lego.
For Gondor
I love this channel
thank you sierra!
Yup. Great content. 👍
For Gondor!
FOR GONDOR
I recently opened a fortune cookie that said “soon you will win a lego dragon mountain” kinda strange tbh 😊
GWP gandalf arrives would be fire
For gondor
FOR GONDOR
The Ent-Counter is definitely my favourite! I hope they do this set for 2025!! :) :)
Really hoping they bring out some great little LOTR sets which are affordable
Let’s gooo! Smaller sets!
Seeing more Lego LOTR sets coming up is just so exciting, massive fan of the books and films so will be waiting eagerly!
Barad-dur wasn’t my cup of tea, but Hobbiton if it looks good and the price isn’t too insane, will be right up my alley.
I have subscribed I dig you style man. Nice vibe on this channel 😊
Hobbiton would be amazing, except that I've been slowly gathering the extra parts I need to make a MOC of the original Bag End from An Unexpected Journey for a few months now. Doors of Durin would be my favorite looks fantastic!!!
Lets see what LEGO future will bring. I'm absolutly sure it will fits perfectly beside Rivendell and Barad Dur. And what an amazing giveaway! 🙏
I love lord of the rings
Hobbiton is a pretty original idea for them to bring, I am exited that it should contain a lot of colour like rivendel!
I've never watched one of your videos before but I thought this was really well done!
I’m so excited! I was a kid when the LOTR/hobbit set were out and couldn’t get any so I’m ready to collect them all this time!
A Rivendell sized Hobbiton would be awesome and also love to see diorama sets similar to the Star Wars ones. I would improve any play set into a diorama anyway but would be great to get official sets.
Awesome! I can't wait for the smaller sets to come out. I hope we get some decent battle packs.
Lego castle always used to be my favourite theme 😍
I really would like LEGO LOTR to make smaller and more affordable sets so that anyone could get them, but still really excited for Hobbiton!
Great video! I’d love a remake of a small playset of the Weathertop!
I cannot wait for the new set! It’s getting to the point where I need a bigger office to fit in all these amazing locations.
I think RIngs of Power is an awesome show. It does not directly adapt the books but the same could also be said about the Peter Jackson films.
my friend is a huge fan of the hobbit and especially the shire. if this set really releases, were gonna build it together like we did with rivendell. can't wait
For Gondor! Excited to see some more smaller sets
Yay we finally have confirmation! So excited!
I would very much like to see some battle packs to Army build. Minas Tirith next year? We can dream! For Gondor!!!!
Subscribed!

Would love to have some new smaller LOTR/Hobbit sets!!
Looking forward for new smaller sets also :D
For Gondor! I really like the smaller sets a lot. Lotr is my favorite movie series and I’m so glad to see it in Lego again
Bruh, season 2 of Rings of Power is LIT 🔥
FOR GONDOR! Elendil!!! While I agree that doing Minas Tirith justice is tricky, they could treat it like Harry Potter where all the different sets can be combined. So instead, they could craft a whole wave, with the Icons set being the base. I mean look at SW with the Sail Barge and Skiff.
Your dioramas are so well done, would love to see LEGO release some just like that.
I’d love to see more LOTR sets that are affordable! I have most of the original sets, and would definitely purchase any new ones if done well. Thanks for the updates, and here’s to hopefully winning the dragon mountain set giveaway on my bday next week😄

A minas tirith set would be awesome!
Lego really needs to do a LOTR’s CMF line. Preferably one every couple of years.
Excited for some smaller sets 🎉
Son of a 🤬! I JUST bought Rivendell last month as a birthday present/congratulations to myself for getting a better-paying job-but a Shire-themed set is the ONLY one I would have preferred out of everything in both trilogies! My poor wallet!! 😭

Awesome news! thanks for the update :D
I'd love some battlepacks for LOTR army building!
For Gondor! Can't wait for new sets.
Probably the only option to capture the essence of Minas Tirith would have been the white tree
Wow! I hope they make some of these. Thanks for the updates.
Really exited for next year. For both Star Wars and LotR
I can't wait for smaller sets as a 14 year old a £400 pounds set takes up my whole christmas budget but with some smaller sets i can actually buy some myself.
We NEED a new wave of LOTR sets!! Just like how I NEED that Dragon Mountain set! lol😮💨
I want to catch up on Lego LotR as I don't own any of the sets yet. Especially before the wave takes off even more.
Lego should make several battle-pacs and play sets of the battle of pelinor fields. With Grond and the gate as the largest set.
So hype to get new lotr and hobbit sets ^^.
Thank you for the lotr updates, I love these sets!
At some point I’d like to see them produce a Minas Morgul set made in large part out of glow in the dark bricks. I have no idea though, maybe glow in the dark costs more to make than plain bricks?
Cool Video👍.
Great work Samwise! Love those designs Lego should copy you 😂 Hobiton mini figures will be interesting.
For Gondor!!! I was hoping for Minas Tirith but that set is probably better as a series of smaller sets we can put togehter to make a big castle. If Lego gets around to bringing back waves for Lotr. Hobbiton? It better than nothing and I will take it!
Keep up the great work man! For Gondor!
I really hope it'll be Hobbiton! I'd pass on Minas Tirith, since I just don't feel like another castle.
I just got set 79003 an unexpected gathering. What a great set I can’t wait for Hobbiton! I’m glad it wasn’t Minas Tirith I would rather they take their sweet time getting that one perfect.
Sweet - your giveaways are the best!
This is a great idea Joe. If Lego did go all in for a first wave I’d be happy. You never know! 🧱 🔥 all the best bro 😎
It’s nice they are doing smaller sets and hopefully the larger sets in the years to come.
I love these Legos. These and Star wars are the best of the best
Hobbiton would be a great set to see, beside some lotr battle packs
They should 100% bring out Mordor Orc battle packs so we can add them to our barad dur set and also build up armies for other potential sets in the future
Hope Lego brings us LOTR battlepacks.
cant wait for small sets
Cant wait for the sets OMG
Thanks for the continued coverage of LOTR
Buildable Sauron :O
I can’t wait for the next wave of LOTR!!!
I really hope we get some lotr sets in 2025, I would love a huge hobbiton ngl I would def spend a good amount of money for that no doubt
Oh well, while I would have preferred the White City, Hobbiton isn’t too bad an option.
I’m a big fan of the dioramas as well, as I feel they capture scenes better. I like your Amon Hen the most. One does not simply pass up Boromir’s tragic end.
One does not! Well said ace 🧱🧙♂️ I feel the same in the icons situation
Great video, keep up the good work!!!
My kids have been asking me for smaller sets that they can play with since I won’t let them touch my old ones. If this proves true, I will definitely be buying multiples of everything drops.
Great option. A good set to revisualize.
Hobbiton♥️. I already know that this set is going to be my favourite😅
Great video, thy x a lot!
I’d like to see more riders of Gondor. As well as the prancing pony.😊
They may also go with some of the Hobbit movies on a smaller scale or dioramas Meeting with Bjorn for example which I know they have done
I hope there will be a proper wave of sets
