I sold my 3.0 TDI Le Mans Avant Quattro (57 plate) a couple of months ago, to a local dealer. He loves it so much he too is keeping hold of it for daily use. They really are great cars if they have been looked after. Not that cheap to fix though when they go wrong!
Yours is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels to tune into on TH-cam. These episodes are all a joy to watch (I especially like the ones with the Jags, really beautiful cars).
That A6 still looks great today 😍I am glad you saved it and then kept it. We haven't seen a Wonder Grip van in a while, have they moved on. I would say it would be worth £3500. Loving the videos. Have a good weekend Matt and team.
Had a black 3.0 TDI version of this (2010 Quattro LeMans - but higher spec) for about 5 years. Sold it in 2021 with 410,000 km on it (about half of those done under my watch) when it developed an intermittent oil pressure warning and limp mode fault that wasn't worth fixing. Everything in it still worked though and the interior regularly got comments for how fresh it looked for a car its age with that mileage. IT spent most of its time on the motorways and was a fabulous cruiser for that purpose. Traded it in against a 2012 A7 and as much as I like it, I do still miss its older sister occasionally.
I have 2010 a6 2.0 tdi Sline like this one irish spec the last 14 years and have put up 500,000 on it. There a fantastic car the a6 c6 and has never given me any trouble. Great to see this one on your channel 👍
Was particularly interested to see this episode as i am currently running a 57 plate A6 Avant SE 2.7 tdi Mutleytronic which i bought for £1400 in March 24 and it now has 163k up from 146k when i bought it. I know im in a minority but i actually prefer the CVT in these Audis having had an 02 1.9 cvt back in 2008 for a few months. Just bought a complete set (12) front arms, droplinks, steering rod ends for £135 on ebay and a pair of SKF front wheel bearings £113. It gives 38mpg average and has to be the biggest bargain available today in terms of comfort and overall performance. Already looking for a 3.0tdi as I've promised this one to a mate who also loves it...
I have a 59 plate A6 Leman Avant. Owned it 8 years and its just shy of 200k miles. Fantastic cars. Bluetooth audio, you can add full intigrated Car play, Android auto with a plug in box, runs off the OEM screen and uses all the factory controls to use it, well worth it if youre keeping the car.
Love watching your videos and reviews. I’ve got a 2006 A6 2.7tdi Avant with 234k on it now and it’s still brings a smile to my face and is a pleasure to drive. Owned it for nearly 14 years and only recently has it had to have some (expensive) repairs. I’m loathe to replace it as it has been so reliable. 🤔
The A6 still looks modern and fresh today, beautiful car and would be a great one to lend out to customers. Well done Matt, right decision to keep it and sell the A3. The A6 is so much classier. And what a bargain.
I totally agree with you when you said, this would have been some car when it was new. It still has presence now 14 years later, I somehow knew you wanted to keep this one. Great video Matt❤.
Good decision Bro. I use to drive on highway 1000 euro 1,9TDI Audi A4 B5.Why? cause I don't have to do nothing if this cars are good maintained, they are immortal. This car cost me nothing and have 400k km on counter and still does good. This old German cars are like old German Panzer IV. I love them.
My wife had the exact same model company car, a black-on-black 11 plate in 2012. The first trip we went on with it was to return drive from Derby to St. Ives, Cornwall, where it managed 43 MPG. We loved it and it looked something special in the spec. and colour scheme! 😎
I used to have a 2010 A6 Le Mans, but it was the 3.0 tdi Quattro. Same colour and everything! Absolutely loved that car. Went like a stabbed rat, and was actually very good on fuel for a big comfortable cruiser! Replaced it with a later A6 Avant, so must have made an impression on me. 👌
Those 2.7tdi’s were a beauty in their day! Also the 5 cylinder 2.5tdi, but don’t see many of those around anymore - think they were only available in the A4!
I’m amazed at how high the depreciation is on cars in the UK. There’s no way I could get an Audi of similar vintage here in Malaysia for that amount of money - I could only get a 1.8T Audi A6 from 2004 for that price!
im in thailand up the road from you its even worse here for foreign car evil tax can you like the comment as i think ive been shxadow bxxanned as well thanks
On a trip across Europe a few years ago my car was involved in a little contretemps with a lorry. Whilst being repaired at a dealership just outside Stuttgart they gave us one of these to use until mine was fixed. I was very tempted to keep it. Beautiful car. Silky smooth. It had only done 9k. Thank you for this video. Brought back memories.
I reckon this is one of your best results ever. Looks immaculate. And as a courtesy car it creates the right impression. I can’t stand getting loan cars from dealers which are complete trash boxes. I always give them back cleaner than I got them to make a point - look after my car because I’ve just looked after yours…

I had it for 6 weeks, it was a Quattro also, really enjoyed thrashing around in it. It was on 84k when I got it, just over 90k when it went back. I remember the fantastic handling an big wave of torque. It was heavy on juice, but I drove it hard! My 520d returned over 50 mpg! 👍😎
I had the 2.7tdi for 2 years as a work car and it didn’t miss a beat the cvt was jerky at lift off but once you figured out how to use the accelerator when setting off it was all good

hey Matt! I love that you're still doing a fantastic job and growing so so so big. you deserve ALL the succes!! thanks for your work. A question too, I noticed that the first gen Mazda CX-5's just passed the 10 year mark and I think they are fantastic cars. we own one ourselves (140k miles). I noticed they can go extremely cheap these days and I wonder if there's a chance you could do a video on one? they drive absolutely fantastic, bulletproof cars, and super cheap these days too.
Love it Matt, good idea to use as the company vehicle, it would be good to see what Jimmy the Magician would do though. Maybe a cool follow up video. Love your channel, great content.
Love your videos and I will continue to watch. Seeing your link regarding car vertical as I have seen it advertised a number of times, I bought a new car and used it for the first time, previously always used HPI. After using it I would NEVER use it again as it missed a stolen marker!! which I later used HPI to check and sure enough it was marked as stolen, went back on to car vertical it wasn’t on my first check (printed copy to prove)as I wouldn’t have bought it, but it appeared after I used HPI, luckily after speaking to the previous owner and the police for over an hour it was an incorrect marker and it was removed from the police database and HPI, however, seeing as I had purchased it at this point if it hadn’t of been a mistake I would have been stuck with a stolen car. Don’t use car vertical use the original and best which is HPI. Keep up the great videos
Bugged me from the start of the video! Then why's it there/how poor is the repair on the front wing if the person that stuck it on, didn't notice they missed the spot by 10cm?
I would do what you suggested. Swap the estate for the saloon. It makes better sense and looks more professional. Especially if bits on the saloon work that don't on the estate
You can add a Bluetooth dongle, I have a Q5 2009 and the an Audi technician installed it. I believe he removed the radio and added the Bluetooth dongle over there. You have another way which is in the glove box but I recommend the Bluetooth dongle and deactivate the glove box music output

I bought a 2008 a6 2.8 petrol from a friend who moved abroad for cheap with the intention of selling it and keeping my new Fiesta at the time. I ended up keeping the Audi and selling the ford due to how well the Audi still drives and it’s ulez. Great run around albeit a bit juicy
Great car, even with it's paint and marks on the bumper it's still quite a car to knock about in and for what it's cost totally worth it, I'd happily have it sitting on my drive
