Worth mentioning that my statement about "Giving the Airborne tank the Bulwark" kind of doesn't matter. No matter what its a 50/50 chance which tank gets Grounded vs Airborne once he lands, so feel free to have either tank be responsible for this. Enjoy!
Glad to see your guides have gone from 33 minutes to 15. I remember trying to watch your guide on Twintania back in the day. Good job trimming them down. Keep it up!
That video also had the full encounter tied in with the actual video. Addedon an extra like 12ish minutes? Think I stopped doing that after Twintania because of the video length
Just a quick tip to anyone watching this. Do as he says, not as he does. How his group handled most of the mechanics in this fight was waaaaaaaaay more complicated than need be lol.
Is this achievable through duty finder? Or is it way too complex to complete with random people? I know the mechanics are hard but if not through duty finder where to find a group?
I’m new to the game and a little new to modern mmo. Is there anyway I can learn the vocab? Cause tho everything is very thorough I still don’t understand most of it cause I don’t know what certain things mean. Like the word burning, in other games I’ve played that means to inflict fire blight, but here I didn’t know it just meant to beat down the boss. Anyone got like a link I can go watch or like a forum?
I don't really understand who should grab the tether. Is it the 4th Person with the mark, keeping the Bulwark, or a 5th one who should grab Bulwark and tether?
It's the 4th fire marked person that should be grabbing the tether. How his group handles it is a mess. There are much more reliable methods to that whole thing
Only had a single lockout in the fight, but the first spin pattern was always an X AoE, never the + version. Have we hit the jackpot and hit the same side of a 50/50 23 times in a row?
The first two "spin" mechanics are fixed (X-Aoe, followed by inner AoE after the first Akh Morn). All subsequent spin mechanics have the second spin random.
In the first half of the fight, it'll always start out with the X aoe and then the IN aoe. Then it'll always be IN/OUT for earthshakers, X/+ for lightning, IN/OUT for the ice on the ground, and IN/OUT for the ground aoes. 2nd half of the fight is completely random, but the first spin will always tell you what the mechanics are going to be (i.e. earthshakers or lightning).
Not even gonna do this bullshit, way too hard, and you need actual friends for it! I call bs! Jokes aside, i can never get into savage but having these videos i can at least obtain an idea of how it is to do this content. Thanks happy!
I agree with you. It doesnt matter if I study the mechanics if it's only me who knows how to achieve this. Everytime I jump on normal duty finder some people die and do not even know why. Surprisingly, they didn't watch a video of the know how of the fight. Now, imagine doing duty finder on savage with all this bullshite mechanics it will be a terrible waste of time. Sadly enough, I do not have friends who play the same games as I do. Ergo, making way too difficult for me to explore salvage or extreme modes. I think I will stick to eureka where things can be achieved with random people I think.

Names Machinist I mean, some bosses need longer guides, not all of them can be fully explained in 15 minutes

Either way I like em now. Good job on em and overall quality *thumbs up*
Mrhappy, I usually watch Mizzteqs videos, but you have a clearer more understandable guide. You got a new fan sir.

Honestly my raid group called him Nidhogg Savage the whole time lol
No he doesn't lol

I cannot wait for today's State of the Realm Spoiler cast!!! :D
Thanks for the guides Happy.

After running this fight 100+ looking for a clear, I can safely say it is always the X aoe.
The first two "spin" mechanics are fixed (X-Aoe, followed by inner AoE after the first Akh Morn). All subsequent spin mechanics have the second spin random.

Great!
Ha. You said Nidhogg as well. Great guide Happy.
Yeah we pretty much called him Nidhogg the entire prog lol
Wrong line aoe attack is actually hot tail not hot wing
For the akh rhai at the start, he seems to always target ranged if they're alive.
False
Blessss
Happy this isnt Nidhogg lol

you don't need to waste time explaining drops man... if people don't understand that shit make a separate video...
