Watch the first PRINCE OF PERSIA by Jordan Mechner from 1989 (MS-DOS Version). Watch my other prince of persia videos. Click right "more from starblizzardstar".
Wow shiiit. I feel like i am 5 or 6 years old again. I was even thinking nobody else would still know this game, but it seems like it was really popular and still is. Thank you so much for this video!
there's other way to make it. you brought him to the left board, then you go to the left board again. in the roof there's a weak stage. you go up and then you appear ahead. :D
I think, that game never be on internet as flash or java emulation. Exist Ubisoft version as flash game, used that old prince, but that version is really easy and suck... You can download that game on any old games server and download the dosbox(p.s.:if you can not work in dosbox, you can also download D-fend and play it on it)
ah the game of my childhood. it still is probably my favorite game of all time. I remember playing this at my uncle's computer back in around 92 or 93 oh memories
Many consider this to be the inventor of the rotoscoping technique. If so, then how do you explain the 1984 PC game Karateka, also by Jordan Mechner, released 5 years before the first version of Prince of Persia? Karateka has rotoscoping animations, right?
@ffr3ak of all time?? thats kind of a force... Super Mario 3, Ocarina of Time, Mario64, Metal Gear Solid 1, Castlevania , Uncharted 2. There are a lot of contenders out there. :D
I can't believe that my dad threw away my computer and all the games that went with it 20 years ago. I came home from school to find a huge hole where my computer used to be, so I ask him where it is and he tells me, much to my horror that he threw it away. I went BESERK!!!! This was one of the game I used to play on my old 90's PC! ) ': I also used to play Challenge of the ancient empires by the learning company, super solvers series! I still haven't got over my loss even after 20 years!!!!
Bellissimo gioco!!
there isn't an exact version online that this guy is playing in the video but they have a "remake" of it. You just have to google "play prince of persia 1989" and you should find it
Please can somebody tell me with what kind of tactics i can beat the first boss? i know what i just saw, but i want to beat the boss with 3 sword hits. Please tell me.
It was the first game ever to have a regional/social approach. If you were rich with a colored display, the prince was blonde. Otherwise, in b&w he was more like caucasian. You don't need to know english if someone from middle east captures a girl. The present day version would be Prince of Kabul.
I played this in 1994ish, from a floppy disc with a few dos games on, I was wondering if anyone know what the other games were (i'm hoping it's a standard bundle of games) - one was pacman, but i can't remember the others, but i'd like to find them!
Now I know what this game is called! I played this when i was about 7. I don't think I had any idea on what I was meant to do but running around and dying a lot haha
Well, my response is a bit late, however I had this same floppy (at least I think). Some of them that I remember were: Dangerous Dave (DDave), Pacman, Grandprix and Battle Chess.
This was my first game!! :') I feel so nostalgic right now...
Unbelievable 😢
same, my first game from my neighbours 486 pc
This is way too cool. Can't wait for the remake of sands of time so I can also jam this.

I live in Armenia and it was my first game on Pentium 3 in 2003. Nostalgie 🥲

Likewise, my cousins had this game. We had a copy and had to call them on level 2 to find out which potions to drink
My first game
the movement's so fluid and like an actual human being who makes body responses when you jump
