Yes Ryleigh, this road sure is a challenge, but hey, you did it and you had a great experience plus you got some beautiful views along the way. Next time grab a window seat on the right hand side going from Kathmandu to Pokhara and a left-hand window seat from Pokhara to Kathmandu to get the best views .Many years ago I did this trip in the back seat of a local bus with wooden seats - no padding - now that was a real challenge, even though back then the journey was actually only 7 hours, because the road was so much better then... and I was 35 years younger! Happy travels. 🙂🙏
Hey Ryleigh, hope you had a great visit in Nepal. and I'm sure you're never going to forget Nepal. Your youtube channel gained so much while you were here. Hope you'll visit Nepal again, specially during the trekking season and go for a nice trek. Train hard for the trek :). loved your vlogs.
Hey Ryleigh, I highly recommend considering a visit to Lumbini, Nepal. This UNESCO World Heritage site holds immense historical and spiritual significance as the birthplace of Buddha. The serene atmosphere, ancient monuments, and the Maya Devi Temple offer a unique and enlightening experience. It's a pilgrimage site that not only provides a glimpse into Buddhist history but also offers tranquility and reflection. A visit to Lumbini promises cultural richness and a profound connection to one of the world's most influential spiritual figures.🥀❤️

I think every country that you wanted to visit, better ask the local first If how much is the fare of bus, taxi or boat that you’ve wanted to visit. They always double charge the price when It comes to tourist or foreigners. Those who are asking they are a couple both from Australia. Luke Damant is a travel vlogger too been watching his vlog since 2022. Now I’m following Ryleigh too. Good luck, love watching your videos. 😊
I watched many vloggers using raod to go and come back from pokhara and found same complain that the road is so bumpy. I really hope nepal government works on how to make the road more smoother and easy to travel. Recently I have visited philipines and the road there is really smooth and well maintained and remember philipines is also not highly developed country but still they managed to keep their road so well maintained. We really should learn from philipines if we want to use tourism as major source of income for country development.
Brother, you are right about the Pokhara to Kathmandu Prithvi Highway. I have travelled this road maybe 50+ times over 40+ years and it is worse now than it has ever been. But the main reason is that for the past 5 or 6 years on the road between Mugling and Pokhara they are re-building the highway to make it four lanes instead of two. Also between Nagdhunga and Naubise they are up-grading the road and also building a road tunnel. And like many things in Nepal these construction projects can take many years. I think it will be at least another two or even three years before this becomes a good road all the way from Ktm to Pokhara again. But still I enjoy the bus ride, because you get to see Nepali life and Nepali people and many beautiful views along the way. The plane ticket one way from Ktm to Pokhara costs tourists $US100 (over NPR13,000), so poorer tourists cannot afford to take the plane. Jai Nepal🙏
It is sad to see how people cheat on tourists who don`t know about the actual price. It was nice to see your vlogs of beautiful Pokhara. Thank you for visiting and you`re always openly welcome.
Hey Ryleigh just wondering where about you visiting now Don’t miss out chitwan national park at sauraha one of the top most place for tourist I can help you out as old place mate as I recently return from syd hope to see you soon🤝

Roads and traffic systems in Nepal are absolute nightmares , they even don't have a traffic light system, didn't saw any ! I had that experience back in the 2019
@@RyleighJayne They do now have some traffic lights in Kathmandu, but often they are not working - the good news is that this means the traffic police get a job to do on the busy intersections. 🙂
Ryleigh your traveling in style, back in the 80s, old mini buses were used for transport to Pokhara, best spot was on top of bus with all the luggage, pretty scary, put my walk man on and enjoy the ride through those scary steep hills 😂. Anyways luved your vlog, food, interaction with locals, filming excellent.👌👍🙏
Even though it was tough travelling on a bumpy road as there are lot of constructions work going on in Nepal, I guess this is another experience that you will cherish..
Hi Ryleigh. Watched and loved all of your videos so far.
