For some reason i wish to be the one who's guiding you throughout the videos. Not in a bad sense but i love how calm and gentle you are. Your good vibes and well behaved attacked the viewers. Its something which makes me never wanting to get bored. You're amazing.
Yes me too wish the same. She was good bt she was not too knowledgeable as being tour guide for 9 years. And her english was also not so good to be tour guide.
I am here to say this, thanks guys ! But seriously this is kind of sad to see and her not finding a great guide. At least have some historical experience so you can guide!
Hi Ryleigh, your videos are an absolute delight! Your passion and energy shine through every video, making them a joy to watch. Looking forward to more amazing content from you!
It was very nice of you to take a local guide ..that helps them alot. Now a days no tourists hires a local guide even when foreign currency convention to Nepal’s or India currency is so reasonable.
There’s truly something special about the way you vlog; its so natural and calming, much like yourself really. No over-editing and loud ‘speaking to your face’ talking. And because of those, it really feels like i am with you like LITERALLY, walking around those places. I hope you stay consistent like this ❤
Hi Ryleigh, I love your vlogs and have watched all of them. The newari foods that you have tried in this vlog are amazing and most important ones in Newari delicacies. The Yamari you have tried is really healthy options for people who are gluten free and dairy free. Yamari is made up of rice flour and traditionally molasses (chaku) is used as filling with sesame and some nuts. Another delicacy is woh and not bara, bara is made up of same batter but would be of different shape. It is made up of lentils and specially 2 lentils are used to make woh; mung dal and black lentils. It is like a pancake but savoury one. The one that you tried is mung dal which is green one. I hope we can meet one day in Australia when you are back in Sydney ❤ . Hope you have a great time in Nepal.
Ryleigh , glad you tried some local food but you haven’t tried a typical Newari cuisine. There are lot of Newari restaurants in Kathmandu which you should go and try it . The most famous one is Sasa in Kirtipur .They have good traditional ambience . Good luck !!

You're awesome Ryleigh! This is my second video of yours I watched. Very entertaining and you're a great host! I see your future in being a travel or news host! A suggestion, if you want to do the food hunt again, you should definitely visit Boudhanath stupa and try the Tibetan dishes- momo’s and thukpa(noodle soup) by tibetans taste different from others and it is best during winter.
It’s good to see your tour. I’m so hungry seeing all that from Japan. Just wanna suggest about PaniPuri, if you eat it next time, fill the Puri with herb juice like fully and when it put it in your mouth, it explodes so well and it’s so much delicious. That’s how I used to enjoy while in Nepal.
Someone has already corrected her in comment section about newari food. So lets come to annapurna. Its hindu goddess. Anna means food purna means fulfill. Annapurna is goddess of food. Here is fun fact inside temple there is not goddess statue. An old bowl full of grain sits at the centre, representing the Goddess.
So sorry to see that your tour guide doesn’t have much details about the food and the culture about Nepal . Hope you find the right person to guide and explain you properly:
