    I'm sorry lady, but you are so wrong with respect to CO2 it's thermo- dynamics 101 a byproduct of complete combustion is CO2.
    CO2 is absorbed by plant life in exchange for oxygen plus CO2 is a heavier than air gas so the assertion that it can somehow make it into the upper atmosphere is just nonsense.

      Seems to be a common theme with Piers. He tends to hyper-focus on assassinating credibility rather than on discussing the underlying ideas.

    I agree with Piers however Asperger’s isn’t a mental health condition it’s a neurological condition. Think that was a bit of a cheap trick to make it sound like Greta Thunberg is mentally ill. I think the weather person should stick presenting the weather rather than playing climate scientist! She’s been on one course and thinks she’s an expert! The chart with the pretty coloured lines doesn’t prove anything other than someone had a point they wanted to prove lol

    kids when you take solid coal and liquid oil and you burn it, it turns into a gas and we’ve burnt so much we’ve got a thicker atmosphere , thus we need more trees and since we can make a diamond in the lab with massive compression in like 3 months , guess what else we can make with pressure ? Coal? Yea , kids 😊

    Greta Thunberg is the MOST PASSIONATE and most famous environmental activist in the world today. And with all her international recognitions like Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People & Person of the Year, one of Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women, and being nominated several times for the NOBE PEACE PRIZE, she puts all politicians and political commenters to SHAME because she's young, courageous, and smart and most of those adults have nothing in common with her. That's why every time she speaks in front of an audience like on stage in the United Nations, PEOPLE LISTEN to her because she's HONEST and has no selfish intentions. But those CONSERVATIVE WINGNUTS and other IGNORAMUS on climate change feel so UNCOMFORTABLE and even accuse her of being mentally insane or being exploited by her parents. However they underestimate her actions or ignore her plea to solve the climate crisis, no one can ever refute the fact that she INSPIRES millions of people around the world, and she's doing everything with her right mind and heart to SAVE THE WORLD. #protecttheenvironment #stopclimatechange #savemotherearth

    • @hawkgirl3092
      @hawkgirl3092 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@GlennMantle She's NOT exploited. Greta is an intelligent lady and she KNOWS what she's doing. If she's selling anything electrical or solar-powered, that's because she's trying to make an example to all of us on how to REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT. So, on one hand, other people are killing the environment with toxic greenhouse gases. On the other hand, she's SAVING THE PLANET.

    I also agree, it seems exploitive. I get it, but there are a lot more qualified/deserving members of the human race who might give voice to this issue. Instead it became a finger-wagging chastisement of humanity by an autistic child who hasn't the ability to grasp just what it is she's asking of the world. Criticizing a world she can't fully comprehend in the first place. She hasn't had to pay her own bills, or spend a summer in the desert with no AC or water. Or trying to get employment; never mind a job that's close enough to walk, or what it entails to actually walk home after working 12 hours in a coal mine etc... I get it, but I also feel like it is exploiting her in an uncomfortable way. I get her indignance, but understand that it's really beyond her ability to understand mine (or 'ours'/humanity's).
    Again, not necessarily because she doesn't have the mental wherewithal, but rather because she hasn't the life experience. For example, it's interesting that somehow she was allotted this medium/venue to express her point of views, and why it's not just some teenage girl without the adversity (maybe because having a mental adversity almost demands pause of critique or argument - simply out of politesse alone - which is my case in point: exploiting her adversity to engage a point of view). In other words, maybe because getting yelled at in the UN by some teenager who still thinks summer's a vacation wouldn't stop the world from yelling back.
