Just as an interesting aside, the presenter (Peter Robinson) speaking with Thomas Sowell was Regan's speech writer and he penned the famous "tear down this wall" speech.
I'm a white Englishman born in 1962. I was brought up to believe that a woman who got pregnant because she slept around was immoral and brought shame on her family, no matter what colour she was.
One of the main problems is the number of single mothers and parents who don't teach their kids good morals.
They don't know where they are, who they're hanging out with or what they're doing until they get arrested.
If I was rude or annoying to anyone my dad would give me a clip around the ear and send me to my room for the rest of the day.
Then he would explain where I went wrong.
I'm the youngest of 6 kids.
We grew up on a council estate. My dad lost his left foot in WW2, but that didn't stop him from being the best dad.
Most of the problems are down to lazy parenting.
You can’t argue with Sowell. He’ll school you to the Stone Age. I adore this man. He’s gospel.
I despair at the prison of lies we have been tricked into believing. We are the wardens of out own prison and the barrier to our freedom is in our own perception. And blacks most of all, sadly.
LBJ’s statement was racist when he said it. Booker T Washington was born into slavery and he did far more to help former slaves then LBJ ever did. The Teskegee Institute helped those former slaves learn everything from basic hygiene to literacy to building skills. Blacks didn’t need a savior, they just needed an opportunity. What’s worse was Mao Zedong saw this as an opportunity to further stroke division between the races, convincing blacks socialism would save them. In truth the Mao was an even greater racist. With as many people who have stroked the fired of division in America its amazing we coexist as well as we do today.

Where do you people get this foolishness you're talking about, love, peace and unity for who? Any black person in their right mind, trust any white boy is simply stupid and out of their minds; because it just won't happen; those guys aren't built that way, I rather trust a cobra first.
Thomas Sowell spoke the truth! I'm so tired of this whole victim mentality, not just when it comes to race, but when it comes to being a woman, or gay or transgender or whatever else people believe they are being discriminated about. If you want to achieve your goals you have to knuckle down and do whatever it takes to get there. Study, apprentice, whatever it takes. There are so many challenges in life, but you don't stand a chance of overcoming any of them if you believe that you are a victim being held down by others. Stop making excuses, be brave and tenacious. Good luck to us all on our own journeys.
Who cares what you are tired of. You're not as tired of those who have been mistreated by one of the worst countries ever, on GOD'S green earth. And the thing is you can find the same thing in the native community, the common thread, racial discrimination.
One day death will come for Thomas Sowell.
And Thomas Sowell will debate him and explain why he's been wrong, then go on to write 36 books about it
Why don't you enumerate on those lies you've been told. So, we can see an exam exactly what it's you've been told. Because the record of the USA is clear, it's the worst nation ever on GOD'S earth. So, enlighten us!
