Ride to Red Lodge MT , Devils Tower WY, Big Horn Mountains.

- Today we leave Deadwood South Dakota and head for Red Lodge Montana. There is a small motorcycle rally happening in Red Lodge this weekend and I have always wanted to. Is it anyways. So Mama S ank KT loaded up in the rental car and I climbed on my Harley Davidson and took off. Along the way we decided to take the scenic route, stopping by Devils Tower and crossing the Big Horn mountains on our way through Wyoming. We almost ran out of gas going across the large mountain range, but luckily with the help of a stranger we made it to our destination.

Hey that 14A is the only way to cross the Big Horn Mtns! I rode thru there last summer to see some of the great places we vacationed when I was a kid, a new appreciation for as much. The Big Horns and the views off the west side heading towards Cody are spectacular. When you look at it, makes you wonder what those old gunslingers thought when they rode across there for the first time?! Saw my first Moose up n the top, if you recall on the north side of 14A off the road are some cabins back up in there. They are massive.
I agree, the views of their absolutely beautiful and if you saw in the video the moose cross the road. It was the first time I’ve actually seen a moose in real life as well

wife I rode from Cody after coming out of Yellowstone. over to Red lodge. up beartooth pass back into Yellowstone out to west Yellowstone, back home to wa.st. via Lolo pass. gorgeous scenery.

Yeah you guys did the beautiful run on 14-14a through Burgess Junction. BTW those hairpin turns are affectionately called "The Switchbacks".
