For anyone curious, the background music is _Shambala_ by the Beastie Boys. The chanting is part of the song. MCA (who has passed away, RIP) was a Buddhist convert who studied directly under the Dalai Lama. He recorded the chants of Tibetan monks and included it in the song.
Wow that is great information, I was wondering who made that interesting music. Like the music at the scene of Gus killing the cartel, it was pure Vince Gilligan genius,
nice catch. They obviously/apparently had the blast cap on the opposite side of the wall and they did not think to put one on Mike's side when filming.

There are no bullets in a movie gun because actors hate to get holes in themselves and producers hate to ruin expensive movie sets or pay to repair them. I saw a movie called "Payback" and the star gets hit by his pursuers car and he ends up smashing the windshield but as he slides off the car and gets taken away you can see the windshield is not even cracked. That was a huge continuity error, I'm guessing the thing wasn't supposed to break anyway or else the director wanted to film out of sequence.
A blast cap right next to the prop gun wouldn't have been a great idea. They just needed some kind of hole (real or fake) pre-placed. They could've even pulled it off 100% practically, since the gun is covering the spot for the entire shot until Hank fires. Granted, it still works in-universe, since canonically Mike's bullets can phase through up to 3 inches of solid matter, but it IS pretty distracting.
Cartel gangsters don't carry with rounds chambered.

It's always dramatic to show the pistol being racked in a gangster film. My choice would be to carry with the round chambered and the safety on, you get another round capacity and faster operation. But maybe the cartel safety rules make them carry safe.
When he goes to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the hand, aren't they going to ask a lot of questions? Are the hospital staff going to treat and release him without the police investigating how he got that wound?

Definitely not. Tarantino is a third-rate hack. Man makes nothing but live action Road Runner cartoons, just set in different time periods and ripping off obscure tracks from soundtracks made in the 60s and early 70s flicks. A second year film student could do better.
Never too old for balloons is some pennywise shit
Not sure what that means
There should be some Sitcom like laughing after "she said yes"

The guy running down the hallway shooting at the sound of a drop shoe gets me every time 😂😂😂

The balloons were a business expense.

I've never identified with Mike more: one time I let go of my balloons and I was so mad I wanted to kill.
"She's gonna need her shoe!"
"yes"
Love how the bad guys in the movies always rack their weapons. 😮
safety first
So you're telling me that a drug warehouse with surveillance cameras don't have backup generators and UPS?
The music has serious 70s exploitation vibes.

Too far away for powder burns, so he can say he was using a power tool and it shot something out and through his hand, or he fell on some rebar.

Didn't need to get something expensive as the balloons would be useful for this situation.
Did you convince yourself mid-dig?
Anything cheaper you'd suggest?

I think this is the moment when I decided Mike is so much more than a hard bastard with a gun.
A character that smart should run his own Blackwater.
