I honestly love Jimmy and Mike’s relationship. They aren’t friends, their personalities don’t match, they don’t even really “like” each other all that much. But, each recognizes and respects the other’s talents enough to have a reliable partnership for many years.

Problem is that Mike eventually lost all respect for Jimmy/Saul and saw him as a purely self-interested weasel devoid of all morality. Which is why he was willing to beat him up at the drop of a hat in BB. If he had respected Jimmy, he would have never used a second lawyer (the one who eventually ratted Mike out and got stabbed in prison), but he just didn't trust him.

It doesn't, but from my understanding of US law it, is battery. Assault means intent to injure and/or making someone scared for their safety. Battery refers to unwanted or uncomfortable physical contact. By that definition, knowingly spilling coffee on someone is roughly on the same bar as spitting on them. It's unlikely to get called up especially if no one knows it was on purpose, but you know.

Майк не поможет поймать убийц Мэтти, ведь он уже их поймал.
Чтобы там все не говорили, некоторые "люди" достойны кары. Майк просто понял это раньше остальных.

Technically you don't even need to touch someone for it to be considered assault. But when you do it's considered battery. Which is why the two are usually combined as one charge, assault and battery.

Did anyone know that Saul is the same lawyer as Tommy Ken Rosenberg in GTA Vice City?
Only his name has been changed, all of Saul's personality has been copied from Ken🙂

One point of order: a cop would absolutely charge someone for assault if they spilled coffee on them.

In Albuquerque though? The local cops are probably more worried about the annoying parking lot guy than some Philly detectives. Post-de Guzman it would definitely be a different story.

This otherwise great series with an excellent cast was completely ruined by the fact that almost 90% of the time, about 90% of the screen is in darkness. Even in daytime scenes, in indoor locations which would usually be lit, most of the scene is in darkness, so you have to strain constantly to see or figure out what's going on. Imagine living in a dark house 24/7, that's what it's like.
F****ng irritating, annoying and tiring after a while.
And there's no reason whatsoever to do it. Just light up the scenes like they would be in normal life, let us the f**k see clearly what's going on, it wouldn't reduce from the story one red cent. And it's not 'artsy' either, it's just plain annoying and unnecessary.
