  • In this video, I show how to wire wrap small beads into a frame, creating a mosaic design. This method works for any size of bead and any shape of frame.
A great design hack is to use masking tape (painter's tape) with the sticky side up. It will hold your beads and design in place as you are working on the piece.
The following are the components which I used for the video (with online product codes).
Rectangular Frame 19x16mm 925 silver plated brushed anti-tarnish gold (FPiWV)
    Watermelon tourmaline beads 3mm (SQ3GO)
Gold filled wire 26ga round soft (FW18G)

Thank you for the tutorial. These are beautiful earrings. I particularly love the first one that you showed with the spaces between the beads and the more organic look. I’m not sure how one achieves that look of negative space. I think it is best to not have the music but you can never please everyone and you are extremely gracious.

Thank you for your compliment and advice - since the making of my earlier videos, I've toned down the music. I first started without music, but people told me that the silence is deafening at times. In the current world of stimuli overload, sometimes people feel uncomfortable without background noise.
I get agitated by noise, but didn't feel confident enough to not heed all the advice I was getting. Now I make ones with almost no discernible background noise.
      Thank you
      Dana

Nice technique! Looks very pretty and sparkly.
Never put music on a DIY or demo video. It is intensely irritating to the ears. Only voice, no competing noise.
Tell us where you got the frames, did you make them? This is a partial demo only. Frames look store bought.

Thank you for your feedback - it is much appreciated.
I wish there was a way to conduct a poll on the music because I had feedback that it was rather bland without it. Perhaps I also don't like the sound of my own voice and hence I have been inclined to add it on. I will keep your advice in mind.
I had entered the information as to where to buy and the product code on the body of the text. Perhaps I should be more explicit in the future.
      THanks for this valuable feedback.
